There are so many fundamental flaws in this fake product (tampon-ness aside) I can't even begin to list them all here.

@Nathan OBZZZZZZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZZZ: Didn't someone confirm that a Google engineer programmed this wi-fi collection system into the street view cars? That was my understanding on the situation.

@Scott Muller: The engineer who programmed this collection mechanism into the Street View cars clearly knew he was going to collect data on the wi-fi networks.

@out0mind: If I rob a bank, and then go back to the bank saying "Oops, didn't mean to rob this bank. Here's some money you might want, here you go!" it's still illegal. Offering to give back the information that you illegally collected doesn't wipe out the previous crime.

The pictures of daytime conditions without the sky are extremely overexposed. It hurts to look at them.

@blehbleh13: Except AMOLED is the technical term for the screen type. "Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode". And it's super because it's the second generation of AMOLED. Completely different situation from retina display.

I liked the empty black space after the GT5 logo that would normally contain the release date along with all the legal small print.

@tj: Giz is linked in the source links, so I'm pretty sure they know.

@Gabbelgak: Not even a debate. Deus Ex: Invisible War wins (or loses, depending on your viewpoint I suppose) by so much.

I wonder if Cousteau was into water soluble bikinis.

@Samo: Uh, dpreview says it's 500 Euros for the A390 and 450 for the A290. Dunno how that'll translate to GBP though.

The A290 also has a larger viewfinder. 0.83x magnification as opposed to the 0.74x on the A390. I'd take the larger viewfinder but I'm not a fan of live view, though Sony does have an extremely snappy live view system.

@Samo: The Continuous Drive rate on these is 2.5 fps. Not too great, but decent.

@Spoony Bard: I agree with this so much. Pixar does this very well (barring Toy Story 2/3, which I honestly can't hate because it's Toy Story), and I think it's one of the reasons they're so successful.

@Danza: I really like the broken tracer dart. Rewards people for using the RPG-7 instead of the Carl.

I don't really see any killer features that make me want to chuck my 3G in the bin. The screen is really the only thing I'd actually want. After messing around with an Evo, the higher dpi is nice. I'm not sure that it's worth 200 dollars and 2 more years of being stuck with the death star though.

@MrSatyre: Have you used a camera built in the last couple years? Any camera with a 1/1.7" sensor is going to produce pictures with good to great noise characteristics for a P&S (<3 S90).

Not too impressed with this shot for ISO 80. Still incredibly noisy in the sky and the shadow side of his face, which doesn't bode well for lower light high ISO stuff.
