It’s pretty awesome that after literally decades of speculation and search, they finally, actually found a planet around Barnard’s Star. It’s either a gas dwarf or ice-ball with a nitrogen atmosphere, but a planet none the less.

The current administration sees protecting industry as part of the agency’s mission and does not want to consider information that would encourage taking action that might reduce industry profit even if it’s based on sound science
Well, that isn’t really that bad. Even Pew reports they typically get between 5-15%...
In fairness, the World of Ice and Fire book hints that they may have been created through magic.
This article addressed it. https://www.inverse.com/article/36807-star-trek-discovery-timeline-uniforms-canon
Has anyone made a definitive statement about the uniforms on this show? I didn’t watch all of S1 so I’m curious as to how they’re going to explain why the Enterprise crew shows up in TOS-like uniforms while everyone on Discovery is still wearing Nike jumpsuits. Always happy to see a new ankylosaurid, but a new dinosaur out of Grand Staircase-Escalante is even better. That place is a goldmine.
I’ve always liked the German name, popularized through The Ring of the Nibelungen: Lindwurm.
