I think a Porsche Panamera GTS Sport Turismo would be the vehicle I could be happy driving forever. Sports car power, wagon space for the family and looks amazing. #wagonlife

Yeah, and tied with the oh-so-coincidental fact that he’s a business owner, color me suspicious.

He genuinely doesn’t seem like a bad person or anything - it just sounds like he thought it looked neat so he bought one. I disagree with him, but I feel for him a little bit. Having people fuck with your car is always gross and awful.

Whether he wants to admit it or not, buying this monstrosity IS an attention seeking move.

The truest assessment of character is how someone treats people he views as beneath him.

Knowing it was a tantrum makes the most sense. It’s the, “I’m so tough I can kick myself in the nuts!” philosophy. That and I assumed he figured he could hire many of them back at lower pay.

There’ no fucking way I would go back to a company that fired me on the whims of a child. This is the kind of business strategy you get from a guy whose reaction to opposition is ‘Go fuck yourself’, or as he put stupidly put it, ‘G. F. Y.’

AWD isn’t only for specific weather you know. There’s a reason sports cars you’d never take in the snow have AWD.

GR86/BRZ easily takes this crown.

If they would have trained it based on Florida driving, it would have just plowed through all of the riders.

Why not both?

Psychopathy vs. dementia.

Next, do Harleys.

I badly want the seller to livestream the last few minutes of the auction. Just point a camera at your face while you watch. It’ll probably net you more money in ad revenue than this car will bid to.

Q: Why does VW hate America, and since they clearly do, why should we care about this car at all?

They do make a 4cyl hybrid that gets 35mpg city (actually 36)—it’s called the Highlander. You can’t force people to buy the car they really need.

So you missed the other two 4Runners right next to it without the spoiler? Looking at the wheel/tire choice, it should be painfully obvious that the one you decided to single out is a street oriented trim level.

Let’s wait until we see pricing before we start calling them “everman’s” anything. The Tacoma and 4Runner pricing have always been a bit too high to really call them something like that. And let’s not forget the dealer markups that will hang around for a couple years.

Nothing says "car guy" like still not understanding that these are easily removable trim pieces meant solely to help meet EPA requirements. It's 2024. This has been a thing for a while now.

Looks like the same flappy air dam that’s on the Tacoma to bump MPG a bit; luckily it’s really easy to remove.
