Damn! I tried to avoid a stock whose price is dictated mostly by the whims and fancies (and tweets) of the CEO and it yet it has forced itself into my portfolio.

Kia already has the “GT” as performance line and “GT Line” as the appearance series.

This and the Gv80 are going to print money for Genesis, if the dealer experience doesn’t screw it up for them that is. Read about a lot of excited G70 buyers turned off by Hyundai/Genesis dealers.

Ah yes the infamous company that made this

$35K before tax credits, >220HP, 250-300 mile range, 10 min to charge 80%, doesn’t look butt ugly, preferably a midsize sedan that looks like the Mazda6 (Unlikely given the crossoverpacolypse but one can wish)

Congrats! Looks like you made a Smart decision ;)

Congrats on moving up to the big leagues!

It’s a Linconiti!

Does anyone have a good guesstimate on when we can get a no-nonsense electric car (CUV) with decent space (and not a cramped compact), 300 miles of range and starting under $30K (Before tax credits)?

As much as of a cesspool that Facebook is, it does help in outing racist trash out there and making them (hopefully) face consequences for things that would not have been exposed otherwise.

I will temper my expectations until I test drive both this and the K5 GT next year and see if it can beat the Accord 2.0T (which I have already test driven). Leaning towards the Kia because of the styling.

This is all the car I’ll ever need. One day I’ll make enough money to buy it CPO.

Man, say what you want but Boomers know how to party like there’s no tomorrow

All likely true but the average consumer who drives the volume doesn’t care. In fact they will pay more for the worse vehicle if they have to choose between the two just because it is an “SUV”

So...

I see Ford’s strategy here- Those who want to tackle the concrete jungle will take the lifted Ford Focus hatch and those who want to Escape to the great outdoors frequently will go for the Baby Bronco.
