It pisses me off on her behalf. Yeah, maybe she was “selling out” or making a poor decision. I wouldn’t blame her fans for feeling betrayed. But this kind of ugliness is what makes *them* deplorables. We need to be better than that.

The book that really got me started was In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts by Gabor Mate- the book is about addiction, but it the in depth descriptions of how addiction works neurologically made me see everything in a new light. It’s an amazing book and I recommend it to everyone!
