Kano would be great (as others have mentioned). If you don’t want to purchase the Kano kit, you can put together the same things for under $100 and download the Kano OS for free and install it alongside other Pi-friendly distros.

I wonder if Apple and other companies will start including USB-C laptop charging/docking ports on their monitors. It’d be really nice to just plug a single cable into your laptop and have access to power and a bunch of high-speed ports on your monitor.
The MagSafe cord on the Apple monitor is for power for a MacBook, because the monitor is also a dock. You plug in two cables—MagSafe and Thunderbolt—to the laptop and everything else, from other Thunderbolt devices to Ethernet to USB devices, stays plugged in to the monitor. But obviously no third party monitors will…
