Dunno, that’s a pretty basic one right there. You want to be salty and pissy and not even extend the courtesy of a handshake, then yeah, I’m fine with Sherman’s reaction. Sherman didn’t do the equivalent of throwing a fastball at someone’s head, he just said it motivated him. Nothing to see here.

Luke-warm take: It’s ok to be annoyed if a guy refuses to shake your hand before the game.

I like Richard Sherman - I don’t think he’s asking too much to have a respectful handshake before the game. Why not?

I’m glad to see that most of the responses to Ethan Wyss’s tweet are about how he apparently doesn’t know what a streaker is.

I’m sure Acuña will agree to stop hot-dogging after he hits a home run if pitchers stop celebrating getting a strike out. Or any kind of an out. Next time a pitcher gets a big strike out, turns around a fist pumps, Acuña should charge the mound and beat him over the head with his bat.

I mean, if Acuna had pointed at Martinez and done the D-X crotch chop towards him, you might have a point. Taking an extra couple of seconds to admire the fact that you just hit a baseball halfway to the moon doesn’t exactly qualify as poor sportsmanship in my book.

I wanted him to respect the game & respect me as a veteran player.

+1 trying your best but not succeeding

He’s right — this shit is awful. When you walk into a restaurant and look at the price on the menu that’s what you expect to pay, plus tax and tip. There are places in LA that throw 20% on the end as a fee, then auto-calculate your tip percentages with that fee included. This is a shitty way for restaurants to pretend

Yeah I don’t want businesses to humble brag, complain or point out the benefits they should be be providing their employees in the first place.

I’m with Darren here. I’ve seen a few restaurants pull this bullshit- there’s a chicken place in California that has a “California cost of business fee”.

Let’s be sure to heap the appropriate scorn on the restaurant owner here. He put that as a line item to make people angry that they have to pay for other people’s Obamacare.

So according to the Ravens Humphrey apologized to Beckham after the game for something he didn’t do?

Jokes are better when they’re left unexplained. Don’t worry, we got it.

If spearing a stationary player that is down on one knee directly in the head with the top of your helmet is not egregious, would anything short of going Last Boy Scout and shooting a player in the middle of a play be egregious?

“His name is Jock Strap King” and “He’s stronger than you think.”

Confused and angered by their departure from the natural order, Humphrey was determined to see the Browns choke.

This article/post could be given a once-over to make it easier to read. Some sentences have glaring errors while others just run on and on. I generally don’t post these kinds of things, but this was obviously posted without being proofread.

For some reason?

To answer one of the often asked questions about New Orleans tourist spots - the city is the home of the WWII museum because Higgins Boats (used to put troops on the beaches during DDay) were built in New Orleans. Another fun fact - all workers that built the boats (black/white, male/female) were paid the same wages
