Wasn’t what he did basically a cut? He didn’t dive at his legs with his back to them or anything to cut them out completely, but he was clearly going for his legs to wrap them up because he obviously was no match for Ertz’s size standing up.

This looks like how you’re supposed to tackle by wrapping up with your arms (although many NFL players have not been tackling like this and have instead been focusing on delivering injury for years). It doesn’t look like he intentionally went down on his knee, but that he slipped a little while changing direction and…
“The injuries and damages sustained by the plaintiff, if any, were caused in whole or in part by
theirhis own acts or omissions,” according to the city’s written response to a civil rights lawsuit filed by Brown.
Did you watch the video? The “You’re on private property!” shout/order/demand comes at the end AFTER he had already been fired and was trying to leave.
Based on the quotes, did everyone keep explaining their use of the N-word by continuing to use the N-word? Seems like that would make their explanations a little less effective...
Did he catch it as you believe in your “mind,” or was he “bobbling” it as you said? Watch it again, there’s no way he was bobbling it. If you want to argue he was still in the process of making the catch (whatever that meant in 2015) then fine, but there’s no way he was bobbling it like a hot potato. He held it firmly…
I realize this is going to be an unpopular take on Deadspin, but I think I agree. He learned of it after the police were already involved. Is it his job to dole out punishment for alleged criminal wrongdoing by firing him, or is it the police and the district/state’s attorneys’ jobs to punish him criminally?
The Globe update on this story has some pretty hilarious tidbits: https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2018/08/20/golfer-pleads-not-guilty-biting-other-golfer-finger-off/4zOEaRPI2QpMdSvjgRAjnK/story.html?p1=Article_Recommended_ReadMore_Pos2
There is definitely an example of it in my slow pitch softball league of about 10 years ago involving our Cuban left fielder.
Because it’s his fielding ability he’s known for.
Hahaha...really? It’s not like the guy walked into his cubicle. They’re baseball players. That was a dick move by the fan, but it’s not like it’s unheard of from a fan to be sitting in the bleachers and be engaged in the guy’s “job”...even if he’s not supposed to be physically engaged.
It’s hard to blame Coleman for wanting to get as far away from that sadsack franchise as humanely possible, even if it means having to live in Buffalo for the foreseeable future.
Looks like JPP really knows how to eat a W.
So did I!
Are you from the future and know that he will be traded to the Bucs too?
I think because he’s not a “grumpy, ball-dominant non-shooter” and was on the team last year.
Do you mean “and he’s never played with James”? If not, who exactly is the caliber of James other than James if no doubt hall of famers Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Nowitzki, and Wade aren’t? (He also played with Davis and Cousins last year).
Can the Pelicans just go ahead and trade Anthony Davis to Boston now so that there is at least some moderate possibility that someone other than the Warriors can win the championship this season?
I am so mad at this guy for being the only reason my team was relevant for the last 2 decades and repeatedly carrying my team to the finals every year after management failed to put any talent around him! Let’s burn this stuff we bought!
The most underrated part of this video is the store clerk just casually going about her day behind the counter without displaying any alarm of any kind. Just a typical Monday in Spruce Grove it seems.
