@Beatlab: Runs awesome on my 3GS
@OreoExplosion: While Quickreply is awesome, I didn't feel the need to have it on 4.0. Multitasking works well for me. But then again I'm not a huge texter, so having to switch apps every second can understandably be annoying.
@mynamesafad: Yup, agreed. I've downloaded it twice, each time realizing soon after that I'd never use it.
PLEASE STOP 3D MOVIES!!
Anyone actually use these augmented reality apps?
AwesomeNote
That's a solar powered calculator...
@Jesse Scroggins: yes
myphonedesktop does this for iphone really well.
@Archnemesis_Goldenhair: Brilliant! I've never seen this before. Will try it, thanks!
Anyone know the best way to capture fireworks without a tripod? Its just not convenient to carry a tripod to the Hollywood Bowl :)
Hacked for 3GS versions are available to download from Installous. Of course, buy it first ;-)
@adbak: Used to have that but just bought my friend's 3GS now that he bought the iPhone 4. WOW it is fast, really amazing in comparison to the 2g. Too bad I can't enable 3G for T-mobile, but web pages still load much faster than the 2g.
@andyr354: You can put the phone in portrait only orientation to disable coverflow. To do this double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar at the bottom, and swipe the icons to the right. The button on the right is what you want to press.
Another referral link, extra 250 mb for us both!
@kidfromkor: If the memory gets too full, the phone automatically will kill the app used the longest ago. Shouldn't have any speed issues, it handles it pretty well. It can be an obsessive thing to want to close open apps, but try to ignore it.
@Cory: Apps have to be updated to make use of the new API for it. Most apps haven't been updated yet. They will be, check the app store for updates
