@kidfromkor: You're not supposed to worry about that. Battery life isn't affected if more apps are down there in the dock. Not sure how it works, but in real life use its really just a way to quickly switch to previously used apps. They aren't fully running, and therefore I really don't notice any extra battery drain.…

Anyone know the trick to make it work for Mac? I remember there's just a simple trick that'll keep it open fullscreen, no hacking or anything like that required, but i can't remember it or find it anywhere online.

Boxee Box or Google TV? Such a hard decision, Google TV looks so promising.

They'll never get rid of the Youtube app. And Google Maps has street view, which they can't just take away. I think Google is here to stay, otherwise everyone would get pissed.

@Guard: The inability to run OS X is the biggie. From my experience, a Mac with the same specs as a PC will run much quicker. Also Mac seems to handle multitasking better. I'm not a Mac fanboy per say, but just based on the computers I own, the Mac runs the best, despite equal specs on my PC.

Definitely looking forward to this. Word 2008 is absolutely terrible for Mac, and yet I use it almost everyday. Pages is nice, but saving to .doc by default is a must. I happen to love Office 2007 on Windows and this looks very similar. Can't wait!

@UnMicD: Desktops have much fewer problems (if any) when it comes to build quality than laptops do. This post only talks about laptops.

i rarely have to go to the second page of a search. if you type proper search keywords, you should never have this problem. and if you do its just a matter of hitting next. i dont think its worth another add on.

I agree that Spotify is absolutely amazing, but why not use Grooveshark? It may not be as polished because its a webapp, but you can create playlists and there are no ads. So its your call, both are awesome, but if ads really get on your nerves, Grooveshark is pretty awesome.
