Agreed. I keep being surprised at how many milieux he managed to be a vile asshole in. He was trolling our neighborhood messageboard in Brooklyn ten years ago (I don’t think he even lived there) and then I learned from a friend that he was the same guy his Manhattan music crowd loathed, too. Then last night one of my

Isn’t “mooley” a super Italian-American thing, though? (It’s from the Italian word for eggplant.) Can’t see Trump using a term that so ethnically identifies the speaker. The other ones, though... sure. And he’d be proud of it, too.

Those interviews have been a real eye-opener. That woman was the second one who has said really awful stuff on national television, not just unapologetically, but sort of gleefully. I think today was Ohio and last week was Arizona.

Oh, and I’d really love to be ungreyed now that I’ve actually gotten quoted! ;)

Weirdly, though, Sephora does not carry all the colors! Or at least they don’t seem to carry my shade consistently. I’d go to Nordstrom first to get matched, then maybe buy follow-up bottles from Sephora if they have it.

I love this stuff. It gets my vote, expense be damned. Somehow it looks *better* later in the day than when you first put it on. My mother recommended Armani to me originally, although she wears the Maestro kind.

Kudos on the header image.

Except that Giu- and Gui- are pronounced totally differently in Italian. I after G makes it a J sound, U after G makes it a hard G sound. And there’s no need for two N’s in either Giustina or Giuliana. Guistinna is like the Italian equivalent of Maddisyn.

Just put some leggings under it, add a belt, and you’re READY for an early-90s aerobics video!

Aaannnd, I’m wrong. Scrolling down and seeing Svetlana Boginskaya’s name, it’s her; she’s 5'2".

Had to check her name on Wikipedia before making this comment, but I remember her from the ‘90s because, at 5'0", she often towers over the other competitors. She’s really built differently which makes her interesting to watch. I was always struck by it because I’m 5'2" and probably the only thing I’ve ever been too

Uggh, this happened to me too! If you don’t know exactly what limited vocabulary it expects you have, it will reject alternate translations. It also presents sentence fragments without a sense of case or Sie/du. I felt so insulted by its assessment.

Right? Candidates usually try to pick someone from a different part of the country, too. Trump looked over one bridge to find his running mate... and oh, probably they shouldn’t bring up the topic of bridges.

Yes, neither of which I enjoy doing or watching, so the appeal is unaccountable.

I like ice-skating, but have you ever fallen down the rabbit hole that is biathlon? That is weirdly one of my favorite sports. There’s some Jason Bourne adventure element to it, plus unitards.

I make monthly donations to Doctors Without Borders and a local hunger/food insecurity group that has done some really innovative work. I picked them because of their high scores on Charity Navigator. I sometimes give to PP or arts organizations ad hoc, but I sort of mentally put them in a different category because

Yeah, it’s hard to keep track of all the deaths! They came so quickly. Yikes.

$38,000 and you have to watch the same movie as your spouse? Pass.
