SAL tried coming to houston a decade ago - i was one of their first managers. Failed miserably. Lack of advertising and houstonians just didn’t get it. Corporate tried bringing in brands like coke and Goya, selling beer, and even a money center, but people just weren’t interested in buying off-brand everything.

It’s about profit. Food is generally small profit margin, but that other stuff is much better.  They have a dedicated section for the non-food rotating Merch and rotate it out based on holidays or whatever crap they got super cheap with a bulk buy

I wanted 4G LTE and NFC, so I'm 50% disappointed. I really don't care one way or the other about the display. The new look is cool, but now cash-droppingly cool. If I had not already promised my 4S to someone, I probably wouldn't be upgrading (not right away, anyway).

@mrazberry001 I do. I feel ashamed, and quite, quite daft. But a boy can dream...

(notice I combined guts and camera to leave from for NFC. I want to tap my phone on shit real bad)

Is it possible that the 5 shadow isn't referring to a name, but instead pointing to 5 new major features?

So, you need a large, flat plane for the NFC antenna, right? I don't know jack shit about antenna's, but could you use the large plane of the metal backplate as the antenna? Just like the side metal band is the antenna for everything else.

I just put my money down for 2girls.1cup

I took the counter offer. I work for a non-profit and my dept is fully staffed, so there was no way to train someone else to replace me. Besides, I think management genuinely understands that my dept is underpaid (well below paygrade for same position in the for-profit world) and wanted to do the right thing. It

lolz

I have an Apple smart cover and new iPad. The smart cover does still work, but it seems that if the cover wiggles even just the slightest bit, the screen wakes/sleeps. For example, if I pick up the new iPad with the smart cover closed, my grasp usually moves the cover enough to wake the screen. My iPad 2 was not

Did someone say fishbowl? secure? They've had that for decades.

+1 - deli meats and cheeses

I'm going to have to be more careful with what I post to my Tweeter website.

I have a library of 5000+ tracks, most of which are house remixes from those share sites. It matched about half of my library, and is uploading the rest.

I believe (but I haven't tested this) that it matches on the artist data, so if your tags are wrong it will upload the track.

No. Even if iTunes couldn't match your track, the uploaded track does not count against your icloud storage limit.

"Is it streaming, or downloading?"

You use the Music app (formerly the iPod app) just like you use now to listen to music. But instead of seeing only what fits on your device, you see your entire itunes music library and all your playlists.

You can't download the HQ version of matched tracks from iTunes to a computer - only to an iOS device.
