BUT WHAT IS GILLY UP TO????
BUT WHAT IS GILLY UP TO????
Fired up my switch Thursday to purchase Thumper, only to find that my Switch was freezing up on the eshop password page denying me access. A call to Nintendo CS informed me I have to send my little guy to HQ to get fixed. So instead of Thumper I'll be powering through Zelda in case an over zealous Nintendo tech…
The colors on the new Ducktales look like shit to me. Where's the brightness we loved in the 80's while our parents were on coke and getting ripped off by Wall Street?
Michael Moore's career documentary fight record is like 1-8. He's like the Glass Joe of documentary filmmakers
The Riot Fest business model is genius. Nostalgia being sold on top mega nostalgia. Note: I have gone to the last two Riot Fest's and would do the same if they hadn't chose to skip Denver
I think MK 8 is a top three Mario Kart. Pistols at dawn?
Rayman 2 was great
Conkers Bad Fur Day was very fun
Rocket: Robot on Wheels was alright
This guy gets it.
While MK 64 is probably the worst in the series, DKR is dragged down by the terrible controlling hovercraft levels and airplane levels that lack speed and thrills. This is actually a pretty hard choice.
Bummed this turned out to be the worst parts of Banjo-Tooie/DK 64. Huge levels that artificially extend play time by putting objectives as far away from each other as possible, and poorly implemented mechanics (first person shooting in DK?).
As written above it is padded to the max. With other people writing full chapters for her book, life advice lists written by her parents (that range from middling to genuinely bad advice), and constant complaining how hard writing a book is. Also several stories that just go nowhere. At one point she devotes pages…
I had a United flight from LAX to Hawaii and this very thing happened. Obiously most everyone on the plane was heading for vacation and weren't looking to cut it 12 hours short. Started the offer at $400. No takers. Went to $800. One taker. Made the same 'we wont' take off until enough people leave'…
I hope the quotes that people yell at Adam Sandler on the street are all 'Bulletproof' related.
While I enjoy Moana, I will give the nod to the film that successfully balances a Chinatown style noir mystery with confronting racism apparent in our society. And with cute animals
At some point in the 2000's I think USA Network only showed US Marshals and Air Force One on a loop until La Femme Nikita came on at 10
Besides the LEGO Movie's omission, I can't really think of another instance under the previous system that didn't award a nomination to a deserving film.
Yeah that's the one. Also he fights a bunch of dudes wearing Dutch clogs. It also features several questionable dubbing decisions.
You should check out 'Who Am I?'. It's got two fantastic fight scenes, a pretty insane stunt, and a great car chase. I'm slightly miffed at how it is swept under the rug in this article.
Seeing Blade in a theater when I was 14 was one of my all time best movie experiences. At the end when Blade catches his sunglasses and the techno beat starts up about 80% of the sold out theater not only started cheering, but actually stood up to do so like the fight was breaking out right in front of them. A guy…
People shit on this a lot but I have enjoyed Couchella every year since it's inception. It's well shot, sounds great, and enables me to clean my house while I watch LCD Soundsystem.
