Harris was a prosecutor. I don’t know what you mean by successful. In Oakland, she was a line DA, didn’t do heavy cases, but was in felonies. SHe left there after something like 10 years, and after a short time was elected THE DA in SF. while there she tried zero cases.

Also there is a code in prison. ChoMo’s are “greenlit.” you can beat them without consequence.
