“I got taken advantage of!”

“I did not go with my husband and as a female I feel they took advantage of me.”

I still have the deflector that sits over the radiator that had to be removed to access the bulbs on a Rav 4 to put back along with the dozen or so plastic clips which mainly broke during removal for the bulb that burned out.

Similar! 2010 Mazda 6. Passenger (left, UK, derp) side is “easy”, you only have to take the top off the airbox to just about have enough clearance to get in there to change a dipped beam bulb.
The driver’s side you need to take the wheel off, peeeeeeeel off the wheel-arch lining and attempt to inveigle your hand

Go after the cops too. I would want to expose their fake reasons for assuming he was armed, and shine a light on them to see what other questionable tactics they have used. Could expose another “goon squad”.

During the solar eclipse a bunch of people drove up to northern NH in their Teslas and the line at the nearby charging station was something like 185-cars long. Someone actually had to hand out numbers to everyone. As someone who owns a PHEV and frequents that area pretty often, the majority of NH has very little

Stuff I learned today, there are 2 Colorado Rivers. I mean I may have known that at one point, but I do try to block out anything that has to do with Texas.

Sheesh! You have to put it in a special mode for it to cope with a fucking car wash? And if not, warranty is voided! What a fucking shitshow of a design and company.

Agreed and understood.  The great thing about living in the south in a rural town that decided to put really nice chargers in that are free is that I always get to charge, lol.  It’s my local tax dollars anyways so I might as well get some of it back.

do you actually dispute his thoughts, despite the fact that it’s just anecdotal evidence? Because this is a problem everywhere. Hard to know if you’re serious.

Personally, with all the random driving trips I take, I simply can’t get an EV anytime soon because of how long it takes to recharge, and constant worries about charger wait times or availability on routes I choose to take.

I just got a Tesla, granted we are in the Midwest, but at any given time, the most I’ve ever seen at a Supercharger is 2 other cars plus myself. The infrastructure outruns demand here but I can see it being a major issue in other areas.

My wife has a Chevy Bolt… these have not yet been opened up to the Tesla network. We charge mostly level 2 at home or at work, however we have taken three road trips in the past year: to Albuquerque, to Vegas and to rural Nevada. Each trip, at largely Elctrify America and Chargepoint stations (which generally have far

The wait times are killing me. I can charge to 80% in 15min but stand around in line for an hour on average. What’s worse is that 99% of charges don’t have any sort of queue, so you’re left with going car to car asking who’s in line and who’s next.

Costco is 10% or so cheaper than every other station around and Costco members get another 4% discount on top of that. That’s why Costco is crowded in spite of a glut of infrastructure. Tesla is more expensive than its main competitor. Their crowds aren’t based on them being a bargain and are more likely based on the

Because at Costco someone may fill up in less than 5 minutes.  What kind of mileage do you get with a 5 minute charge at an EV station?  False equivalence, sir.

People who have enjoyed the convenience of NEVER having to wait in line for gas are not going to trade that for the dice roll of waiting for an EV charger.

What? People are regularly waiting over 20 minutes to get a charging spot. Never in my life have I heard of anyone, anywhere waiting that long for gas, except during the oil crisis 50 years ago, and before and (especially) after natural disasters. And in my entire 28 years of driving, I’ve encountered maybe 5 or 6 gas

Yeah but when each person spends 30 minutes to hours charging (assuming they’re even there right when it’s finished!) there’s a big difference between a line at an EV station vs. a gas station.

Shit, I need to show this to my local movie theater. It was a mess last week trying to get tickets and popcorn with four different cues for four different tellers.
