Demand is dropping, and dealerships know it. I’ve been tracking the trade in value of my car with carvana for the past year. In mid 2021 they offered was $31k. I ran it in august 2022 and it was $20k. Ran it again just now, $18.k.

My parent’s 1992 Caprice wagon would have easily been modded to do the same as the Buick and Chevy (and short lived Olds) were basically the same cars.  These were the last and greatest of the world’s full size wagons.

Salt Lake City, got a dozen large dealerships within half a mile of my house.  Their inventory has definitely increased over the last year, but there’s few new cars on the lot.

Correct. I’ve got a friend with one, it’s the size of most CUVs and is pretty low to the ground, even compared to CUVs. There’s no way it would be an actual SUV. Looking at it, I would say a Challenger or Charger have better ground clearance, and the Charger looks bigger.
