This is so incredibly stupid... and I’m not a fan of these vehicles at all. At the least if you’re going to confiscate these things, make it so you can resell them out of state and use the money towards something useful, like NYC education or building green spaces in NYC. Destroying perfectly good materials is just a

Yep.  Totally.  And it will take a long time for HR not to flag them as unable to move up because they don’t have a 4 year degree.  HR, by and large, are morons.

I paid $4.85 in Austin a few days ago

Agreed, just take a dang screen shot and re-post it here.... ugh. This site is so lazy.

Is that seriously a question?

this article is completely useless unless you are on instagram.

Agreed, dumb as fuck. No weight exceptions, tax em.

At the same weight, their skinnier tires probably cause more wear-and-tear to the roads than truck tires.

Doesn’t Lawrence live in San Diego or somewhere in So-Cal?

I think the healthcare issue is not to be minimized, especially considering people of retirement age are more likely to need at least some kind of regular care and will likely need access to at least some kind of regular medications. If your retirement plan is to live out your days on a boat but then you get diagnosed

I don’t think there’s a production supercar from the last 10 years that I HAVEN’T seen on the road living in SoCal. I even saw a LaFerrari when I was living in Palm Desert.

How about we have a live broadcast with Geraldo Rivera spending two hours talking about the history of the crate, speculating about what might be in the crate and how exactly the crate is going to be opened, and then the last five minutes standing in front of an empty crate apologizing for wasting everyone’s time.

They probably dock fairly frequently at places far more interesting than most Americans see in their entire lifetimes.

^^this. It’s a lifted/large tire 4x4 box. Wrangler, GX470, Landcruiser, 4runner etc...no matter the motor they are all gonna get around 15mpg lifted with large tires.

While not my taste, this article almost justifies the whole cruise ship thing MORE for those inclined. I view cruising as (literally) an all-you-can-eat buffet, with sea and some entertainment thrown in. That recipe powered Las Vegas for years, so it’s no wonder it’d work for those willing to pursue the modest

Man, oh man! The writer of this article is in DIRE need of a week long cruise!

I’m not personally big on cruises, but it’s clear that people who retire on them do so for a reason.

“Retirement is supposed to be your reward for lifelong hard work and spent doing something you enjoy...so here’s 1000 words on why I don’t like the thing you enjoy!”

Lmao or all the times where a bunch of marines pile into your warthog and then you immediately take a wrong turn off a cliff. Whoops!

It is! I’m so used to seeing built LS engines used for stuff like this that the use of this 350 stood out. But I guess it makes sense. The previous owner just wanted to tow, not do endless burnouts.
