I am not sure if you are for or against DST.....
Take some time and look at the Cost of ownership for a brand new EV and the exact same vehicle as a Hybrid.
Daylight saving time ended on Sunday, meaning we gained an hour as most of the U.S. fell back to standard time.
This is what all of the major truck makers should have been doing instead of looking into EV’s.
You should come back in late November and try it out. We Dry Camp at Ocotillo Wells OHV area every year with friends. Put up a ring of Trailers, get out the dessert toys and have a blast - bringing a trailer instead of your entire vehicle as your RV means you can go on midnight 4x4 runs all over the place.
They did make a 2-door Tahoe for just a few years before discontinuing the 2-door. The Year that the Chevy Tahoe was released the name Blazer was removed from the full size 2-door SUV and it was sold as a Tahoe.
Agreed - Closing trails is not going to save the environment. If the issue is off-trail destruction then we have something different to talk about.
Shouldn’t your team be ignoring actual data like this and just be blaming the size of the tow truck? Jalopnik normally can’t get out of it’s own way making a point that large full size trucks kill so many pedestrians.
I don’t think my wife is on my Motorcycle insurance policy... she neither has her M1 nor a desire to ride them.....
You might want to dig deeper into how the rules have been changed in the name of safety for Truck Drivers - but in reality make them less safe due to forced break periods whether the driver is tired or not - which can in turn mean they are driving tired when finally allowed to come off break.
I hate to be “THAT GUY” since I am a life-long GM Fan and my father owned both a Jimmy and a K5 Blazer in my youth.
Jay Walking is not something that Police enforce or cite for in California -
In California to legally be a Pedestrian you must be walking on a sidewalk or have the right of way in a cross walk, which means walking when your signal is active for controller intersections.
The number of defaults does not mean everyone is as bad as you might think either. Perhaps if you had some definitive data that showed exact what percentage of people who 100% finance cars default on loans VS those that don’t we could make a definitive statement.
According to your logic I have had no business buying over 15 cars over the last 30 years - not did I have any business buying my first home in 2008 which I still live in....
We are defining Pedestrians only as Humans who are walking in a cross walk when they have the right of way correct?
agreed!
Found that out the hard way many moons ago.
I get the reasoning behind this since paying cash means you do not have to “pay” extra to borrow money.
