Currently the decision to pull someone over for a traffic infraction is up to the discretion of the officer. I think an officer can tell when a driver is swerving in the lane and then see them staring into their lap at their phone and determine if that is a distracted driver or not.

There are plenty of other reasons to no want other camera’s tracking ones Car I would assume. Toll Road evasion, etc.

If we are going to make blanket statements that large vehicles are bad we have to include delivery trucks and Semi-Trucks.... But getting your license to operate a Semi-Truck requires training.
