If the EV revolution happens like everyone thinks it will, then the cost of Gasoline will drop when demand drops..... That is just basic supply/demand. As far as I know there is still plenty of oil in the ground being pumped out, that will stop one day, but it has not stopped yet.

Electricity in San Diego is the most expensive in the nation. The cost to get into a new EV is extremely high. For me, it is cheaper to keep my ICE vehicles as long as I can get the repaired instead of spending Ludacris amounts of money to buy an EV and then pay almost as much as I do for Gas to fill it with electrons.

I live in San Diego and put solar on my home in December 2016 and I am glad I did. Currently where I live we have the highest electricity costs in the entire nation. My electric bill averaged over $200/mo in 2014, and 2015, sometimes as high as $250/mo. We pulled all our bills for the Solar Study.
