Lol, this is funny. I found Odd a couple weeks ago. He said something like “I don’t want to talk over the narrative,” and I knew he was The Guy. Lot of games I know I won’t have patience/time to play through, so when working, am pleased to be able to put a LP on.

While I’m sympathetic to the non-owners affected, if a company is so desperate that they feel they need to enact these despicable policies, they must be out of gas. Whether it’s currently the fundamental business model or present leadership is arguable, but B&M physical media stores aren’t going to be around forever.

Given how broken the game was made out to be at launch, that it runs on anything without community hotfixes and a lot of tweaking is useful info. A DSFix scenario is fine so long as it exists, but once I heard it was broken at launch, I effectively removed the game from my memory until this article came out.

I did something unusual and went the Imperial route in my ongoing playthrough starting a couple weeks ago. I think I’d rather just side with Alduin.

It’s really awkward. If it isn’t marketable / I can’t sell it in bulk using Steam Inventory Helper, I just turn everything into hats and give away to random person on server who’s polite.

Ghibli will show up in a Winter Steam sale before I die.

I mean... that basically looks like Skyrim.

Now that I’ve had a chuckle... I was just trying to comfort author.

“Obviously, there was nothing ‘interesting’ about the real Auschwitz and most people did not escape it alive.”

ARE YOU SAYING THERE’S NOTHING TO LEARN FROM AUSCHWITZ OR JUST THAT YOU WERE BORED WHEN LEARNING ABOUT IT?

It’s kind of odd. Everything looks like dark, wet clay with ridiculous high-intensity light reflections (similar to Amnesia!), but yeah, it feels more real than more games trying to be realistic in aesthetic.

Something about wet clay must terrify humanity down to its core. Maybe it’s an uncanny valley thing.

Doesn’t need it, but wants. Determined better platform for pre-orders than through Steam.

LISA’s Salvation Rangers, as well.

I’m tempted to buy one just to show support for Nintendo hardware that isn’t going to require goofy peripherals to emulate later. Will wait until launch reviews come out. Solid thing to donate, too, since self-contained.

Ooo! I spend sooo many hours desperately swimming around OoT. I was too embarrassed to ask for help. I remember I was watching the Mortal Kombat movie, so very bored on the slow ship (and I must’ve just missed the boat when I got to the dock., because I remember it took FOREVER), getting excited whenever I saw a rock

I don’t *think* that’s true, but boats were so often “down,” temporarily removed, and had temporary-turned-permanent replacements. p1999 would probably implement if could be proven, and if I could disarm boats to go warp speed.... well, that’d just be great.

A game could get a tutorial after years without, and now a 30-minute tutorial is made mandatory every time you start a new character because some people were taking a few minutes to figure out the controls.

Press “w” to move forward.

Good job! Press “w” five more times to proceed to the next lesson.

“Genres with more women emphasize Completion and Fantasy (the top 2 motivations for women). And genres for men emphasize Competition and Destruction (the top 2 motivations for men)“

That’s some pretty intense chat. I don’t mean this in a judgy way, but why do Overwatch players seem to take the game so seriously? Is there not a casual/hardcore separation?

Steam Game Removal policy:

Ooo, I like this. In the rural midwest, a failed legal defense forms.... I did not stop at the stop sign due to disrespect of the image as an IP. It is in fact entrapment for the government to permit anyone to use this important symbol for any meaning, from benign logos requesting I be culturally understanding, to
