I did indeed.  Typo on my part

As soon as I saw that large wire hooked up to the + side of the battery I knew it was a ND.

I’ve owned a CX-5 for years and recommended it to 2 others- whom also bought them.  My old Mazda 3 is still in the family and still used as a daily commuter.  They are great cars.  My only issue is they seem to have lost the zoom-zoom they used to have.  I appreciate the I6/RWD biased AWD move but it is only in giant

Honda, mainly because of their dedication to the manual transmission and reliability. I’ve owned several Honda’s over the years and they’ve always had stellar reliability and great transmissions. It also helped the Si’s I’ve owned and others I’ve driven have always been phenomenal driving experiences.

Mystery coolant AND oil leak, no thanks.  Throw in all the electrical or motor issues- sunroof, power mirrors, driver side window motor and you have a definite NP.

A lot of BMW’s have directional tires with staggered sizes (the rear are wider than the front).  You should never rotate staggered size tires and they probably just decided to make it a universal thing regardless of tires being the same size because tire places were either rotating staggered sized tires or putting

I worked at Lincoln when they stopped making the Town Car.  There were people who had been trading in for a new Town Car every 3 years for 21 years that came in one day to find that they couldn’t get anything but a newfangled MKS.  I’m sure GM took a lot of Lincoln sales during that time.

You know what’s funny, the luxury car companies don’t do this kind of shit. I test drove a Lexus the other day and they just asked for my Drivers License and I was good to go. If you want to treat potential customers like criminals when the come in the dealer ship then fine see how that goes on the Customer Service

From what I’ve read the Frontier is a pretty solid base.  Seeing as that the 4runner will most likely go to a 2.4 turbo having a N/A V6 SUV in the mix would certainly pull some people over to Nissan if the rest of the specs are good.

Had a ‘93 si hatch and I agree.

Any BMW from the late 80's

Sunroof toggle switch I will give you as an easy thing to replace but engine mount and a water pump not so much.  If you replaced the water pump as a timing chain/timing belt service at 90k that totally makes sense, same with the engine mount around 100k is when mounts fail.  Now if you are saying you replaced those

I hope it does print money for Rivian, because at this time they are in need of a large sum of cash.

Yes, I’m not saying that tire wear isn’t a thing or that you don’t have to rotate tires.  I’m just saying that sometimes service departments rotate tires as a way to check the brakes when a tire rotation may not be necessary (before the interval).

Still looks like an arachnid in the front.  I hope they put a hybrid engine that gets decent mileage in it.  The Maverick hybrid had it beat for MPG’s and I’d like Hyundai to compete more on that front, especially as an AWD option.

Buick is actually making some decent looking crossovers. They seem like they are ripping off Lotus which is not what I expected. That 1.3L 3-Cylinder is a no-go for me (both literally and figuratively).

I love a Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3

Ford has a tool called IDS. You can do a Power Balance test which will tell you that there is a misfire on a certain cylinder and a Relative Compression Test which compares the the compression of different cylinders based on crank shaft position speed.  I would agree that it was likely a valve stuck slightly open,

Honestly the tire rotation is more to look at the brakes to see the inside brake pads then it is to even out the tire wear most of the time.  Brake jobs are gravy work (if everything goes right).
