Look I get it.  But I also get being a technician and thinking we have like 2 of these calibrated things for 30 people and I have a card that looks pretty similar why don’t I just use the card to keep it moving before I get fired.  I’m sure this is the mentality that has caused Boeing to become what they are.

My guess is the key card is used as a “go/no go” gauge. Basically if the card fits the gap is too large, if it doesn’t your good. If the fitment used some proprietary gauge that is also just a plastic gauge of the same thickness as a standard hotel key card then why does it matter?

Off-road people sometimes use fire to set the beads on the tire. Basically instead of using a product like a Cheetah Bead Seater you just add something flammable around the lip of the tire and light it.

Lack of visibility which would also be caused by high hood lines.  I would love to get some Forward Control type trucks in the future.

It’s a 2 generation old Tundra.  They have only gotten bigger and taller.

Fun fact-Morphine has been around since the early 1800's and is a derivative of opium. Some kind of poppy based pain reliever has existed for quite some time though possibly at least 2100BC.

High volume, high density, pre security is always the most vulnerable point.  You can move security wherever you want but that just moves the choke point.

Not exactly, locked doors can still be unlocked. I had a friend who’s job is to look into preventing terrorism. He said that the way a terrorist gets around a locked door is to simply threaten to murder people until the door is unlocked. That usually does the trick. This was also when there was an accessible axe in

I guess you could put your racing tires in the back and swap them out at the track. These have actual lug bolts instead of the crazy ass single lug on some high end Porsche’s so feasibly one could swap tires pretty easy.

These cars are starting to hit 0-124 in times that would be impressive in the 90's for 0-60. EV’s are wild.

I bought a new rear end (differential, axles and hubs) for my 91 Dakota for $800. That was probably the most expensive single part I’ve bought.  After doing zero maintenance it just kind of exploded one day.

They bolt right up becasue it is already a GM 3-speed.  That being said the Jag V-12 is kind of the crown jewel of the car.  Nothing sounds like an old school V-12.  There’s also a lot of room to make more power out of it.  They raced these with some success in the 70's to mid 80's.

These are only going to get more collectible and this is probably the best version as they stopped making them in ‘96. Just make sure you put some money away for maintenance. As my friend’s dad said about his XJS- “It’s the fastest thing in between gas stations.”

That totally makes sense.  There has to be something to make sure that the engine runs every so many hours of operation to maintain lubrication and the fuel system.  Same with the braking system.

These aren’t lighted intersections, I guess cross street would be a better term.  So this isn’t an issue with traffic lights.  Essentially there is no way to make Bicyclist visible to traffic because parked cars block them from view.

The really should’ve leaned into current pop culture and made the entrance look like a Dune 2 popcorn bucket.

That is 100% a Buick Roadmaster and not a Caprice Classic.  Same frame and most of the body panels though.

It’s funny that a lot of what I find to be masculine involves being able to provide and survive and that solar and wind would give a bit of energy independence from corporate overlords.  Especially with an EV which in an emergency can be used effectively as a generator for the house.  Like if you want to be some kind

They really should show a picture with the rear liftgate glass down.  It is easily the best feature on the 4runner and the whole reason I would consider this as a replacement.

The city I live in installed some bike lanes recently.  While I love the concept I’m still a bit concerned about the execution and to be frank I feel they did the best they could on a road not designed with bike lanes in mind.  The issue being that they move parking outboard and have the bike lane in between parked
