Hard to tell if this is a case of 2fast or 2furious possibly some combination of the 2.

$55k for a non-turbo? GTFO

I have a friend over 6' who has had several C-MAX’s he fits fine and recommends them to everyone.  They are far cheaper than the Prius and pretty comparable.

For me there are a couple of vehicles that make the exception to the rule- Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango. I’m sure there are a few more but those to me are certainly SUV’s (RWD or can be optioned with a transfer case, etc)

I agree all the unibody Jeeps kind of ruined the definition. I don’t think anyone would describe a YJ Cherokee as not an SUV. I think its kind of square/rectangle argument. All truck based enclosed BOF vehicles are SUVs and some unibody ones as well.

The K24 was one of the greatest engines Honda ever made and I, among other Honda fans will die on that hill.

Toyota Tundra.  I think if Toyota had put their focus into creating a new V8 instead of going V6 TT they could’ve still hit the fuel economy and emissions goals.  Plus I’m never going to prefer the sound of a V6tt (or 4 cylinder for that matter) over a V8.

I understand, the point of the SEC is just to fine the company enough money to scare other companies into not doing the same BS again.  At this point I’m kind of surprised there isn’t a class action lawsuit against Milton.  Dude was very provably reckless and lied to investors so... let me get some of that cash.

Would be nice if investors got to see some of that SEC settlement.  I bought NKLA when it was popping off in 2020 and everyone thought they were the next TSLA.  At one point they were selling around $65 a share, today they are $0.80 lol.

Never had a problem in mine so I can’t speak to that. Mud can be tricky for any vehicle though. Once you lose traction or momentum the tires just dig and if you don’t have the experience to know what to do you may end up buried to the axle. In the case of this article the issue seemed to be snow and mud which is why I

some time around 2005 I looked at a high mileage version of this that had faded red paint (red paint seems to fade easy on Toyota’s of a certain vintage).  It was $3k.  Still wish I bought it because even the NA engine has some oomph to it.  I’ll NP this because the seller is probably right in this being one of the

As far as I know that was limited to the Theta II engine which is the 2.0 turbo or the 2.4 NA engine produced 2011-2019.  The 2.5 is a different engine and I’m not sure it has been around long enough to find out if there is any major design flaw.

My best guess is this came with the diesel 2C-II engine so somewhere in the 69-74hp range @ 2600 rpm with between 94-98 lb-ft of torque at 2800 rpm.  If it has the turbo those numbers are 83hp/121lb-ft.  Either way it is bound to be slow as hell and a bit of trouble to get up to highway speeds especially in the

I own a 4runner what are these touch controls everyone keeps talking about? What’s next automatic transmissions with more than 5 speeds?

I have regular ol’ all seasons on my 4runner.  Its primary use is on road and we do a lot of trips on the highway where NVH would be a factor.  Pretty much everyone suggest putting some A/T’s on it because people have grand delusions of offroading everywhere all the time.  I properly air down my tires when going off

I’m still upset they didn’t keep making the Magnum and even more so that we never got a Chrysler version.  Imagine an SRT8 manual 6.4 Magnum or a Hellcat.

I’m made to more European proportions so it is appropriate that a British sports car fits me quite well.  I think I’d go for the V6 Supercharged as I want the manual trans.  If they had offered the manual in any of the V8 models then that would of course be the choice.

The Volvo C70 is the true car of the olds and astronauts apparently.

Knew a dude with a SC300 with a manual and a 2JZ swap. The factory straight 6 in the SC300 was just a turbo away from being a monster.  The V8 was also great just not available in manual which really would’ve made it sing.

I don’t have the disdain for the Lexus SC430 that everyone else does in the comments but the yellow floor mats and the rims that look like they are from a lego set don’t do it for me. For $14k I can think of other cars to own.
