Don’t tell that to Japan:

The roadmaster did come with the corvette engine (the LT1) from ‘94-96s o did the caprice classic with the 9c1 police interceptor package and the impala SS, so that is factually correct.  The block and much of the internals on the 2020 and up 6.2 in the Silverado is also technically a corvette engine.  I believe the

Yes and no, the turbos were kind of weak point in the 2.7tt and when the blow most people decide to upgrade to K04's.  The RS4 MAF is not an uncommon upgrade either.  The car comes with “the original plumbing” which I take to mean the factory exhaust system which you would need to pass emissions in some states as

Calling a cast iron block truck engine the same as an aluminum block corvette engine is not something GM fans do. It’s not a matter of being detuned, it has a completely different material for the block. Not to mention the differences in the head design, pistons, etc. In this case this is a truck first (it was used in

Colorado makes sense as there is a lot of potential for snagging people from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Space Command is a military agency so putting them close to NASA in Huntsville, which is by it’s nature non-military doesn’t really benefit them. Sure they could poach people from NASA but that would

One of the things that Cadillac always had over BMW and Mercedes was that they had large interiors and they were comfortable if they don’t do that better than the German competitors then I don’t see them winning this battle. Also putting the same engine that is in the Colorado in a Cadillac isn’t exactly a power move.

I have a friend who has a 4xe who is a lifetime Jeep person. The car ending up just not working one day and was in the dealership for quite sometime before they could fix it. Ended up being one of the recalled vehicles from this recall:

Toyota making a complaint about the charging infrastructure and then not doing a thing about it is telling. I’m certainly not a Tesla fan but they have done more for infrastructure with their supercharging network than any other manufacturer. A strong argument could be made for VW and their Electrify America program

FWD with a 125 hp 4.1 V8?  Nah.  I’d get like 5 honda del sol’s for that.

Looks good and I don’t think the price point is that bad compared to other electric bikes.  I checked a few of the Zero’s and they were over $20k with 100-187 miles range.  What’s the range?

It’s not a big ask for carbon ceramic brakes. Porsche has this option as well as BMW, and Mercedes  probably a few others.  They cost $10K and up.  If other companies are offering it to mark up costs why wouldn’t Tesla?

I thought the biggest problem was the transmission being herky jerky.

I think you are forgetting that Rivian has a commercial side as well. Lucid doesn’t have fleet sales. Rivian has a contract with Amazon and should be opening up to other non-Amazon fleet sales soon. I don’t think we are going to see Lucid taxis any time soon.

Crying over spilled milk? No we are upset that a company that made 9 models in 2003 has reduced its lineup to 3 in 2023. They had sedans, coupes, convertibles, BOF SUV’s, and crossovers. Mitsubishi was a bonafide competitor in the late 90's and early 2000's. They were similar to what Mazda is today.

This is the one to get.  I have an air mattress and some inflatable pools and the high volume side comes in handy.  Comes with all the attachments you need for various valves as well.

I don’t know if it was a special edition or just a very odd choice for a trim package name but the Plymouth Neon Expresso- yes that’s how they spell espresso comes to mind.

Unless the EV is air cooled, there are coolant changes, I would think 50k to 100k depending on the manufacturer.  Some EV’s also use a 2 speed trans which will probably require a fluid change.  Brakes will also need to be changed although not as often.

The crosstrek must be forgettable in that Jalopnik reviewed it twice and already forgot what it looks like.

There’s a reason you don’t always use tear gas in riots, and that reason is that it is combustible and it can become toxic when heated.

I will frequently point out a $85k F350 king ranch or GMC Yukon Denali.  The thing is they don’t look that different from the cheaper version.  Truck prices vary so wildly within one model.  An F150 starts at $34k and goes up to $85k for a limited.  That’s crazy.
