Bad investor invested in bad business and bad business wants money from bad investor.  Everyone has poor judgement in this case.

I absolutely hate having a gas mower. It pollutes, it requires me to make a trip to the gas station to refill my small gas tank when it runs out of gas, and in general it takes up a lot of room in my shed compared to a fold-able battery lawnmower.  However, it starts on the first pull and I don’t have $500 to spend on

How about do it by GVWR.  The weight more than anything is the damaging part of the roads.  Incentivizing OEM’s to get lighter seems like a good move.  Also, moving people out of giant bro trucks seems like it might make sense.

Having clearly defined rules to the legislation would be nice.

Sure port to nearby terminal is fine. In supply chain though the idea is to limit touch points and get the cargo to the closest DC to final delivery without having to unload. For deliveries made to the Midwest the transport would ideally be able to go all the way without recharging/refueling. I would hope that we can

That would certainly be a bad day at the trail.  This seems like it was put there by engineers who never thought about the use case of a bike where a person is frequently getting on and off.

Hey don’t let billions of dollars and decades of experience make you think that a tech company can make a decent UI.  Go hop on and try anything that used any version of Microsoft Sync and you’ll see what I mean.

California has some of the largest ports in the U.S. (port of LA, port of Oakland, and port of Long Beach) so this is big. If you are getting something from Amazon on the west coast or mid-West there is a high likelihood it got brought off a shipping container from a California port and loaded onto a diesel truck.

the GR86 is on a bespoke platform same with the Supra- obviously they are shared with other brands (Subaru and BMW) to keep costs somewhat lower.  All other Toyota cars/crossovers/etc are on the TNGA platform.  Most brands have some kind of global architecture with maybe one or two models (usually sports cars or

certainly there is a shift pattern

People can crap on Mazda for still using the 6 speed auto but that thing is rock solid.  Same for my 5 speed in the 4runner.  More gears isn’t always the solution.

AE86, ask any drifter what car they think of and this will obviously be #1

So the GR86 and GR corrolla aren’t fun?

Considering Toyota is the second best selling brand in the US (just recently toppled by GM) I think part of this data just comes down to Toyota being one of the largest groups coming into Carmax.  Also considering GM buyers mainly buy trucks they are probably just trading in for another truck of which there are not

Most state parks that I know of have a seperate parking area for RV’s as they require 1. large parking areas, 2. 220v hook ups, and 3. fresh water for the holding tank.  I’m sorry that you hate campers, some people like to bring their families places and not everyone can camp conventionally.

I feel like the weight will be the biggest penalty for these offroad.  In trying to still keep the towing capacity and payload while outfitting it with offroad equipment and a luxury interior they just made an already heavy truck heavier.  When you are digging through mud, weight matters.  Once the wheels start

To my knowledge you can’t get the RWD models any more.  4X4 only.

If money or off-road capability are an issue, sure, skip the Cayenne”  Why?  The Cayenne is great offroad and better pick for offroad use over a lot of other luxury SUV options.

I’d put the continental in with the Mk VIII as having cool tail lights. This thing looked like a UFO at night:

Has 5.0, runs, that makes it worth it. NP
