What will really blow your mind is how they filmed the 1st episode around this having the characters not eat pancakes and cookies to avoid it on accident.

Throw Stabil in it.  That’s what I do on the last mow of each season.  Never had a problem.

I’ll be pissed if the next gen 4runner loses the rear glass. All I want is a Body on Frame plug in hybrid version with 30 miles or so of electric power- this is for a specific use case of going to the outer banks.  They could change nothing but the engine/trans combo and I, and most owners would still buy them.

As a ‘91 Dakota owner and lover of the next gen Dakota, they did this truck so wrong on the last gen.  They could’ve made an R/T with a Hemi and retro styling and printed money instead we got this POS.

Honestly the better move is to get a clean TR-7 for less money and swap a GM based V6 and 5-speed in it.  The Rover V8 is a POS in both reliability and maintenance.

They work well when you are wearing gloves, which is pretty key in a “work” vehicle.

All things should be designed from the dumbest user up. I have heard cars as “having the technology of a space shuttle but designed for Homer Simpson to operate”. At this point millions of people fill up cars with gas/diesel every day, unfortunately EV chargers have to live up to that standard. Pull up to the station,

Every manufacturer has a bad engine, to my knowledge the 4.0 and 3.0 V6 and the 2.3 I4 were pretty reliable.  Although, the 2.3 did have a tendency to leak oil and according to ford/mazda required engine removal to replace the oil pan gasket.

Did Mitsubishi forget about this abomination?  Everyone else did.

Arguably Mazda’s best pick up truck the B-series was because of it’s ties with Ford.  Honestly a Mazda version of the Mav with a turbo 2.5 would be sweet.  Given they have a RWD platform now so a turbo 2.5 RWD/AWD unibody truck would be even cooler.

Yes, I’ve looked at the GX and without the V8 it is much worse vehicle from a packaging perspective. The power rear glass on Toyota’s is a big selling point. I’ve moved 12' boards by passing it through the rear. It’s also fun on the beach to drive with the rear window down. It also looks like the GX has less cargo

Hytorc makes a standard electric gun that is cheaper by $1000, the difference being that the model in this article is designed specifically for use with Porsche. It has the Delrin rod to hold against the wheel (eliminates need for braking), the pre-programmed torque on/off sequence, and the special socket. Torque

I’ve never been a fan of the swing out rear door. My 4runner is way easier in the drive-in movies with a standard hatch style door that goes straight up (with speakers built in). The swing out door gets in the way when you want to walk around the vehicle with it open or when you need to open it in tight spaces. That

As a previous owner of a 3 and a current owner of a CX-5, for any new car- Mazda is Always the Answer.

Between Toyota having the wheels fall off on the BZ4X and VW having the ID.4 randomly lose power the Big OE’s have been really messing up their big EV breakout models.

No, what Honda does best is have at least one sport model that is actually fun to drive. The Civic has the Si and the SiR. The accord had the sport 2.0T. It was lauded across the board a legitimately fun sport sedan that was fast and handled well. I’m guessing with the hybrid down on power and up on weight, it will

That looks a lot cleaner. I’m guessing the 2 coolant reservoirs are one for the ICE engine and one for the battery? You can sell twice the coolant flushes at the same time!  Also twice the water pumps to fail.

I was just looking at how many tubes are coming off the intake.  I see at least 4 but maybe 6 attachment points to the intake tube post throttle body.  If any of those connections leaks it’ll throw an 02 sensor efficiency code due to unmetered air- Computer adds fuel based on MAF and air coming in post MAF is not

How different is this engine compared to say the 2.5 hybrid in the 2010 Mercury Milan/Ford Fusion. That hybrid system was rated at 191hp/166lb-ft combined. It just seems weird that over a decade later Ford has gone backwards. The 0-60 time for a Milan was around 8.7 seconds which was pretty quick for a hybrid at the
