I managed to pick the correct thermostat that failed on 2005 Nissan Altima V6.  I also managed to remove and replace it without removing the engine mounts which is step 1 in the shop manual.  It required several swivel sockets and a lot of patience and cursing.

“The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ costs over $461,000, while the Kia starts just below $76,500" While technically correct (the best kind of correct), according to Car & Driver the Kia EV GT starts at $62,695 so we are talking under $65k! The one they tested (and they usually get optioned out models) was $63,400 and they

1/4 mile times obviously.  Come back with some slips!

I have a feeling some of the EV Certification from Ford was done via blackmail for allocations.  As in you won’t get any of X model (Raptors, GT500, etc.) unless you gain EV Certification.

Engine oil is important on any engine regardless of fuel, but on diesel because so many things are controlled by the oil it is so much more important to functionality.  The injectors are hydraulically actuated via the oil so if the oil is starting to breakdown it will impact injector operation.

How about a different one then all the muscle car engines and exotics that are the obvious answer? I give you the international Navistar T444E also known as the Ford Powerstroke 7.3L. It was the workhorse of Ford’s super duty trucks for many years and also powered many school buses and work vans. Bullet proof

So if you happen to live where coal is the main form of electrical production you are just screwed?  Cool!

If I lived somewhere with an actual greenway sure. We need to have completely separate bike lanes, like no car traffic at all just bikes. The bike lanes where I live are separated (there is one lane of traffic, parked cars, then bike lane) but the there are still cars that pull through on the cross streets and cars

How’s that Cybertruck coming along?  That was promised to be delivered 3 years ago or so correct?

I’ll give you a story that goes the other way. I was a mechanic working for a Lincoln/Mercury dealer. The owner was trying to drum up work so he started offering free oil changes with the idea that we would find other things wrong with the car to offset the loss. I brought a Lincoln LS in with the rear brakes metal to

Had to read through all this to find out it was offered in a diesel with a manual and AWD. Do they have it in brown?

Wow 1970 Chevelle SS 454 not on the list, including mustangs (a pony car) and not having the Boss 429, no Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 or Buick Skylark GS with the 455. If you are throwing late model stuff the ‘87 Buick GNX, ‘96 Impala SS, and ‘09 Pontiac G8 GXP, and all the hellcats/SRT-8's should also be in contention

That’s kind of standard in the industry, civic gets bigger replace it with the fit, CR-V gets bigger replace it with HR-V etc.

The Ford F150. This country was built on F150's. They are the best selling vehicle in the US and you will see one on virtually every job site.  The F150 Lightning is also the vehicle that will solidify the transition to EV in the minds of Americans.

Somewhere around that.  Never more than 75.
