Once you free up all this room want to check out my holy grail ‘91 dodge dakota? Come on down to Richmond!

Pipe wrench, vice grips, pb blaster, and a torch when it gets ugly. I love all things Knipex but this bad boy is my favorite for broken bolts. Don’t have to reclamp over and over like vice grips.

I whole dang article and not one mention of if the rear window can still roll down.  As silly as it is, one of the biggest selling points in the power rear window for toyota trucks.

Best of luck David! May your bolts break loose and your electrical issues not be difficult.

If someone had the time and energy to drop a newer Mazda 2.5T with the 6spd. manual in it that would be amazing.  Also that vintage Mazda logo on the grill is awesome.

Hey those are Ferrari Dino acceleration numbers. With the tax credit this seems to be the first EV that really checks all the boxes for me. RWD, striking looks (moreso the IONIQ), decent power, and reasonable range.

Anyone know what the 0-60 is for the base model? 167hp/4000lbs sounds weak but this has instant torque of maybe 200 ft-lbs. which should make up for the mass.

Wait are we saying the badge defines the car? Malibu, impala, dart, daytona, thunderbird, 500, 442, take your pick.

With your comment about Mitsubishi making fun of minivans its ironic that they were most likely the turbo supplier .

I guess the only laws they follow now are the Pirates’ Code

Well you still can’t get a challenger convertible, so the camaro and mustang have the California/Florida rental market still.

in order: Great Depression 1929-1941, Pandemic: H1N1 (Spanish Flu) 1918, first example of robber baron was in 1870 but it was also popular in the 1930's thanks to Matthew Josephson, I just learned the gilded age is 1870 to 1900 (still feels like the sentiment carried into the 30's), Also looks like peak train robbin’

I’ll go with 1900-1940 then.

So, If you are the crew and the company you work for no longer exists what exactly do you do? Like if I’m the captain its not my fault the company didn’t pay its bills. At this point the captain can just be “not my boat not my problem” and go wherever he feels like right?

I had a ‘02.5 MKIV GTI with the 24v VR6 and the 6 speed manual making somewhere around 200hp. The 1.8t could easily surpass it with minor bolt-ons and a tune but the VR6 always seemed more refined, smoother, and with a more linear torque curve. Loved that car, hated the constant electrical issues.

The US is going full on 1930's, economic collapse, pandemic, robber barrens, gilded age Billionaires, now its time for some good ol’ train robbing.

Not to my knowledge.  The one I worked on just had multiple P030x codes for 2 cylinders.  Replaced the 2 ignition coils and the problem went away.  I can’t remember the naming convention for the cylinders though.  Some manufacturers do it by firing order and some do it front to back sequentially.  I had to flip them

Wondering if the timing belt has been done.  That’s a pretty major service and it would definitely be due for it.  Don’t know much about these in terms of reliability but I know the V70's would start to have ignition coil issue around this time.  About time to do the plugs anyways... Based on cursory research this is

You’re driving down a dark desert highway, cool wind in your hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw shimmering light-

I feel like its the RUF CTR aka the “yellowbird”
