That has more to do with the powerband. They worked really hard to keep the torque as flat as possibly throughout the rev. range keeping it in boost. the NA engine in the FR-S falls off a cliff at points (the notorious dip). Also seems like the Si is making more than it claims. Given the GTI probably is to.

To be a bmw designer you must be locked in a padded room for 2 days and fed nothing but LSD. They are constantly playing videos of moving hexagons on a loop.  The only other entertainment is a 70 piece set of magnet blocks.

I feel this should be included in the review (even though you were in Cali) because this excludes the Si from a lot of peoples’ short list of cars to buy.  The nearest competitors all have available heated seats and at this point in the segment that’s a must have as an offering.

The also named their convertible “spyder” which is just another name for roadsters.

It’s named after the largest ranch in the U.S., located in Texas.

It hard to compete against the GTI which has: a hatchback which is far superior for putting stuff in, more power (and potential for more power than the 1.5t), and arguably a better aftermarket for performance parts. Debatable which car handles better until I see a side by side comparison.

I asked about if the US Civic Si would have heated seats and there was some hand waving and “of course it will its a new car.” Heated seats are not mentioned on Honda’s website under Comfort & Convenience or Seating. So, I’ll ask again: does it have heated seats?

I find it funny that in car commercials they would have to try to find some analogue for shifting in a manual transmission to make it sporty. Like they try to do the same interior action shot of someone moving a gearshift but it is just someone pulling the automatic shift lever towards a minus sign a centimeter.

Can’t speak much to the current Titans but I can tell you the first gen had terrible problems with the brakes.  The rotors have all kinds of vibration issues and when you go to remove the rotors they are always seized to the hub.  Now most cars that have never had rotors off have issues with corrosion or sticking to

Ever done a DOHC V8 timing belt?  Seems like this would be a PITA.  At least this one is facing the right way.

Can someone answer why they put the oil filter on the top of the engine?  Subaru also put it there on some of their other cars.  I assumed it was to keep it out of the way from damage especially with this cars low center of gravity and what not.  However, since the idea is that it filters oil wouldn’t it be best to

Comfy you say...

I mean they haven’t even made an album since 2003.

They need a sale of the Bolt, lets call it a fire sale.

Need to come out with a .0528i so it’s actually under 3500lbs

Does the 228i come with an LSD?  I know the base Miata does not and that’s a bit of a deal breaker for a performance RWD car for me.

My guess is if they do it’ll be electric.

2 adults does not equal car seats my friend. Car seats especially rear facing take up far more room than even the tallest adult.

Better get yourself some weird inverted torx (e-torx) sockets.  BMW loves those now.
