At this point the Integra has to just prove itself once it’s released and show the world it’s worthy of the name. It might be oddly proportioned and all that but if it’s a good drive, I think a lot of people will warm up to it.

You know I have this recurring dream where I have multiple cars stored somewhere in a garage just sitting there being ignored. And quite often they’re sporty or sports cars.
What people pine for or delude themselves with does not change the realities of the car business.
I’m sure your invitation was just lost in the mail.
I understand it just fine, you don’t understand that you’re cherry picking your memories about the old Integra and setting yourself up for inevitable disappointment.
Yeah if only hopes were actual purchases lol
Ok now I’m convinced you’re all delusional. Integras have always had 4 door versions and they sold a lot of them.
Because he’s driven it. /s
I just think it’s because people don’t love the looks. It does have some odd proportions, I will admit but I think it’s one of those vehicles that probably looks better in person. At least I hope so lol
Yep exactly, lightweight cars with less power are more fun to drive because you can get closer to their limit without killing yourself or ruining your driving record.
😅👍
Well we have more versions of it coming out so let’s wait and see. In any case most people who track their cars do some sort of modifications to their cars so it’s hard to compare apples to apples.
Yeah that is a bit concerning. It’s weird, it doesn’t look nearly as chonky on the Civic. What the hell happened? lol
If by smoke, you mean faster, who cares? It’s not a race out there. People should drive for the enjoyment of it, not who is faster. If that was the case everyone would be in Teslas.
Styling wise this is miles ahead of the Civic. Sorry I just don’t like the new Civic, they swung way too far from the admittedly overstyled 10th gen. But now the 11th gen Civic is too understyled.
No thank you, we have enough overpowered cars and too many people who don’t know how to drive.
I think it’s just a sign of the times we live in. People are overstimulated, everything has to blow them away and wow them. A sensible, reasonable product offering is suddenly offensive to spoiled brats in adult bodies.
found the “AKSHUALLY” guy
I’m tired of overpowered pos cars. All it does is lead to speeding tickets or worse accidents. What’s the point? A well tuned lower-powered car at least allows me to row through the gears without endangering my driving record.
But is that so bad? What if you don’t want the Civic? I actually am not too enamored with the Civic styling. It’s a great car but the styling (both sedan and hatch) is too stale for me. For people like me this Integra brings something different enough that allows me to get into the Civic platform without having to…
