It’s disappointing to hear all of the technical issues. I’ve played every Pokemon game thus far and am avoiding this one until they largely fix these issues (and if they don’t, I’ll just skip the game altogether). I’m sure it’s still a good amount of fun but just can’t support a publisher releasing games with shoddy

Nearly finished with Violet, and it feels very much like a first draft. Aesthetics-wise it’s uneven. There are a few—few!—genuine BOTW moments, like when the sun is setting and you can see the light glimmering on the water and you think “wow, this game is almost...pretty!” For the most part however, you’re staring at

You joke but they really have got the maths wrong on this - it was released in 2003. They're a year early

I don’t think that’s a super fair reading of the situation. Hugh Grant is not aware of the context when he walks in on them, and it creates the possibility in his mind that Natalie doesn’t like him in particular, but would instead like to be with ANY man in power. When she explains the context, he IMMEDIATELY runs

It is rather funny how the woman with her breasts exposed for most of her screen time gets perhaps the most respectful treatment of any of the female characters.

This movie is deeply weird.

Oh no you aren’t wrong. Her brother HITS HER and it’s seen as oh well.

For me the distateful part is how Emma Thompson doesn’t dump Alan Rickman after he cheats on her and gets her a terrible gift. And how we’re all supposed to laugh at the idea Colin Firth could be attracted to a fat woman. And how POTUS Bill Bob is evil for hitting on Natalie but Hugh Grant isn’t.

For all its attempts at charm and romantic this-and-that, am I the only one that finds the Laura Kinney subplot a little troubling, and counter to the entire spirit of the film? I don’t re-watch this one, so maybe I’m wrong…?

wonder who did the math there, the movie came out in 2003....

Are they going to cut to Alan Rickman’s tombstone for a few seconds every time it would have been his turn to talk?

I think Americans are suckers for romcoms set in the UK but they act like Americans.

Andrew Lincoln’s stalker cards get all the attention, but for me the really distasteful part is how we’re supposed to see Natalie as being in the wrong for the President hitting on her, and needing to apologize before she deserves to be a politician’s arm candy.

If you’d like to be further annoyed, Danny Glover actually might not have quite turned forty when he was cast for the role of aiming to soon retire Roger Murtaugh in the first Lethal Weapon film.

Its a fucking awful film.

By far Andrew Lincoln’s most terrifying role.

We watch it every year.

100%.  Never understood the appeal.

Nah, that doesn’t sound right. Maybe 10 year anniversary. Someone check the math on that.
