It went on for about 15 minutes and focused on Bill's present and future with ESPN. I promised to keep what we discussed private, but I was hoping it would have been released. Turns out, Bill Simmons is quite smart when he's talking about Bill Simmons.

When can we expect the MadTV pamphlet?

Google "2015 Pan Am Games," "BC Place," "Edmonton Arena", or "Quebec City Amphitheater" before you start making fun of the Americans for public funds for little/non existent payback.

You mean the podcast where he spent an episode discussing how HIV/AIDS are both made up? Yea, fuck him he's a useless asshole who spreads hurtful lies.

Another Friday news dump by the NFL, er I mean ex-NFL exec, "independent" arbitrator Howard Henderson.

I know I have to do well because of all the activism stuff and we're in prime time we're 5-2 at this point and we'd like to keep it rolling.

Oh I didn't know you were an activist.

Is anyone asking you to treat the two issues as equally important?

Is there some reason that they can't do both?

The article was accusing that entire fraternity of planning gang rape every year as part of their initiation. You don't think they're owed an apology?

I have that reaction pretty much every time Deadspin runs one of these isolated vocal articles. The significant majority of readers laughing about this couldn't touch any of these notes if their lives depended on it.

The speaking circuit has an odd economy. My company audited the fees we pay for speakers that we bring to various conferences and some of those guys make a good living dusting off the same remarks and delivering them over and over again. I imagine Stephen A does pretty much the same thing, but he is a recognizable

It's the scientific method in action and what I learned from it informs how I see the world even

Because the theory of evolution is one of the most important theories to come from the scientific method and should be taught in schools so that kids understand how to formulate and test observations and ideas. Intelligent Design has attempted to claim the deductive powers of science, while being based on faith; faith

It's just not fair, how you white people suffer.

I have no patience to actually listen to clips from Cowherd or Golic, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that Simmons was probably a blowhard, since he generally is, but I've gotta say, I love the new angry Simmons. He's self-righteous and a bit too prickly, but it's bringing out some of the qualities
