If you know a thing or two about driving dynamics, you can make the most unlikely configurations work, sort of. The problem is that a lot of people just don’t care. So when the first snow falls they are as bewildered as if their cat had just started talking, giving them financial advice.

Obligatory.

Be aware that Europe is a made-to-order market. It is normal to wait 3-6 months for your new car. Dealers don’t have the inventory, and people don’t want what are basically demonstrators, so almost every new car purchase is a factory order. MB had waiting times of 2-3 years on their SLs in the 80s or 90s at some

That’s news to me. I’m in Germany, not Hungary, bu tif they had a problem supplying the European market we’d probably feel that as well.

Nice review, but please stop calling it a wagon. It’s a hatchback. This is the wagon:

“The Series I Fiat 127, produced from 1971 to 1977, was Fiat’s first foray into my favorite category: the supermini.”

It was/is a good looking car, that’s why those poseurs are driving them now that they have depreciated eneough. But the basic design is over a decade old, and I am not too sure if it is a wise move to hop on that train just now.

Two peas in a pod.

Erm, nope. Just no. Imagine being the passenger and having to stare at his blank void. Any swoops, creases, lines whatever would have been fine, but this looks like they just did the dtiver’s section and then called it a day and left early.

As sad as it is to loose a car like that, I can fully understand that you were more upset about loosing A CAR, than loosing THAT car. G20s were sold as Primeras in Europe and even with a manual were so forgettable that Nissan killed the the whole line and is no only selling CUVs in that price/size/weight/whatever

When my dad moved from Frankfurt to Hamburg he rented a 7,5 ton truck like the one in the picture. It was the biggest we were allowed to drive on a normal car license, and it was surprisingly car-like to drive. None of that high-low stuff, just six forward gears and reverse.

Did they ever find anything in Iraq?

Read the whole thread! I’m from Germany.

Sounds like you’ve met me somewhere, sometime....

Just like passing on the right, it being illegal doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

Passing on the right is highly illegal.

Would be illegal in Germany. If you encounter one of the, admittedly rather rare, left lane hogs over here, you have to patiently wait until they run out of fuel or something or you will potentially face more severe charges than them.

The 2 series coupe will stay RWD. Only those pseudo-vans and the 1series will switch to the Mini architecture.

I had exactly the same thought. It’s just completely unecessary. My impression was that of a girl with heavy mascara that has just been crying.
