It was built for a German TV show, which featured the build process. The show was like watching a car accident in slow-motion, terrible but you can't look away.

With a MK2, I'd go BMW/Angel Eyes style instead of Audi/Devil Eyes.

In 1981 Mercedes presented one of it's best looking cars ever. The C126 coupes, Bruno Sacco's design masterpiece. They built them for 10 years, without major design changes, and it still looks very good today. Damn, I want one now!

No joke. Earlier this year, my dad hat to get a new company car. He got his 4th 5 Series wagon in a row. But he didn't get a brand new F10, he chose a CPO E60 on the basis that the F10 is too wide to fit in my parents' narrow driveway.
