I didn't like the Ultimates/Avengers storylines, I agree, that was mostly crap and stupid. Especially the Gregory Stark stuff.

I'm liking this Ultimate Spider-man a lot! It has been a little slow starting up but it is such a cool and different story.

Well, if I remember right, Supernatural got an "early renewal" last year because the ratings for S6 were fairly good. But I could be wrong on that. I thought the non-early renewals or the "standard renewals" for the CW were announced in May. Maybe I'm mistaken on that.

Outside of Io9, I don't sense any excitement from people I know or people in the theater at all. I don't blame them, I'm not excited about it either.

Even when they are rated R, they most of the time, generally suck.

Well, they were not going to show anything anyway. You know how movies are these days. It will probably be PG-13.

Oh, yea, totally. They finally did an X-men as teens, but it took them 4 movies!

She has grown up quite a bit though and certainly looks older now than she did in Kick-ass or Let Me In. She might be ok.

That's the one thing that always bothered me about the first X-Men movies. They were never teenagers. Even in the first movie, they were played by 30-somethings. I guess we haven't cared about teenage mutants for a long time.

I really want to watch that now, as crazy and morbid as it is.
