How strong or how obnoxious must an opinion be for it to become a whine?

@rad.coverdale: Yeah, the only authors who would be able to successfully self-publish are ones who're already well established.

Don't you simply love all these silly infographics that have anti-tech messages nobody takes seriously, not even the creators or publishers?

@Tony Bologna: Article,"consuming brotherhood: men's culture, style, and recreation as Consumer Culture, 1880-1930", by Mark A. Swiencicki.

A social network that does not conmect to Facebook is utterly useless for me. Facebook is 'the' social network, that already has three years worth of friends, and messages, and info added in. Ping can't compete with that, unless it imports the Facebook data.

I like the mildly negative way they potray the iPhone. iPhone users read entertainment, android users read news. iPhone user 'own' fish, Android users 'love' birds. And of course iPhone users are feminine and Android users manly :)

@FriedPeeps: No, 20 bucks for a robot that happens to be shaped like something you try keep away from yourself.

@Digo: That kosher website mentions tiny white specks as evidence of the crustaceans.

Who is this 'everyone'? According to wiki, less than a quarter of all American cell phones are smartphones.

@tigerthunder: Yeah. It took about ten years from the introduction of colour TV for the US networks to take it seriously.

@JacquesPaysan: They did, but the wreck has deteriorated since the wreck was discovered, so the old pics aren't acurate anymore. The mast has dissapeared, for example.

@sbunny: There are other similar shipwrecks that could be scuba-dived. One, the Empress of Ireland, in the st. Lawrence River, still has skeletons inside.

That dog looks CGI.

Why did they use paperclips?

Are those actual devices or giant black shapes that have been drawn in? I can't tell.

@Damien Lavizzo: you can't live like that, because whatever you do, there's always going to be something more deserving of your time and money. We'd probably still be loving in caves, if we only ever tried to do the 'most important thing'.

@Bill Clinton: Libraries might allow you to get music, but it doesn't allow you to discover music. My obscure music was only found by chance, by casually 'surfing' through videos. You can't do that with music CDs.
