In the past month I beat Nier, Drakengard 3, and every Yakuza game from 3-6. It definitely is nice finally clearing enough from my log to justify buying new games again.

Kick ass, now more people can play my favorite JRPG. I have a working Vita, which is my dedicated RPG & visual novel machine, but I’m considering buying this just so I can play Golden on my TV.

She’s been making music in bands and solo since 2003, and it’s all on the artier and weirder side so I wouldn’t lump her in with “the popular musics of today.”

I’m going to finally beat Persona 1-3. I’ve had so many false starts with each of them, but I’m determined this time.

Check out the indie game scene. Stuff like Hollow Knight, Celeste, Nuclear Throne, Enter the Gungeon, and Spelunky might be right up your alley. They all have no crafting, razor sharp gameplay, and are complete games.

Welp, there goes my next couple weekends.

I love Golden Deer so much, but why did it take Raphael five years to find a shirt that fits?

I’m doing Golden Deer for my first playthrough, but I am 100% for Black Eagles if only because Edelgard looks like my favorite Bloodborne boss Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower.

I’ve been waiting 15 damn years for this and I could not be more chuffed.

I’m of the opinion that Super Ghouls & Ghosts has the most mechanically interesting double jump. There’s something about the momentum of it and the fact that you can only adjust mid arc by using up the second jump which makes it walk a perfect line between frustration and bliss.

This is such a specifically savage suggestion. Take your star you glorious bastard.

Star Wars fans are fine by and large. It’s so deeply ingrained in the cultural zeitgeist that most of us are happy to just enjoy stories about space wizards and not act like jackasses about everything. It’s a very vocal minority that houses the assholes.

My thoughts exactly, this is the absolute worst month of Plus since I signed up. I have zero interest in sports or racing games.

Ugh.

It was probably an ostrich, but yanno...a sick ostrich.

New Jersey, just outside of Atlantic City so it always struck me as very odd as well. You would think an area with such a robust nightlife would have more accommodating bartenders.

It’s times like these that I’m so relieved I still have the EVA Platinum boxset.

For some inexplicable reason I always get a death stare when I order an Old Fashioned, the one cocktail I like. It doesn’t matter where I am, could be a casino bar, local pub, restaurant bar, I always get the same icy look. Is it really that much of a pain in the ass to make? Am I better off sticking to beer or

Of the three AC restaurants, Tony’s Baltimore Grill is the only one from which I have not had a bad meal. Dock’s is so hit or miss I refuse to eat there anymore and The Knife & Fork is mediocre at best.

Typing of the Dead. ‘Nuff said.
