Once I got a tan (the one summer I had an outside job) and it was really confusing for me because I just thought my hands were dirty all the time and I washed them like 20 times a day.

Not true. I'm olive but I think pale skin can be beautiful just like any other color.

This is my life: white, red, white.

It seems like there are two schools of thought.

Yes, thanks for instructing us on how to use one b.s. natural “one size fits all” solution for another. Happy you found something that works for you, just lose the self-righteousness.

This happened to me a few years ago. I was using it as directed for maybe 2 weeks. I got out of the shower one day and had a gigantic bald spot at the tip of my head. Like clean and smooth, almost like there had never been hair there before. I looked it up online, and the first few links were websites saying “Wen does

You can - that doesn’t mean everyone can.

They’re a bit cagey with their ingredient list. I have noticed they list “active” ingredients. But I can’t see a common surfactant on the lists that I’m seeing online (I admittedly don’t have a bottle, so if you say there are, I believe you.)

Yeah the amount they tell you to use is insane. And then when people had problems the company suggested they weren’t using enough? GTFO.

That’s what I settled on for a while....I think it was Suave, and it did OK. And I also tried the new stuff they’re marketing to men, the 3-in-1 that combines shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. Results: horrific.

I have a PhD in chemistry and even I wouldn’t trust myself to formulate Shampoo, let alone some clean living hippy stylist.

A few years ago my hair thinned drastically and jfc was it ever upsetting. It’s started getting thicker again, and having shorter hair + a sidecut actually makes it look thicker (less weight pulling it down + more hair piled on one side), but I feeeeel for these women.

Whether it works for you or not, I can’t speak to. But the ingredient list and order of ingredients is basically a recipe for an emollient body lotion, so describing it as such is....accurate.

I use Batiste Dry Shampoo and fear that it’s making my hair thin as well. There seems to be a lot more scalp showing in the spots where I normally spray.... Anyone else have a similar experience or an I just the lucky one?

There are very few non-lathering creamy substances I’ll allow in my hair. I was suspicious about this stuff as soon as I saw Chaz’s greasy mop.

At what point does quality of life play into this thought process? In that position I’d rather be dead.

Now playing

Has anyone ever watched Border Security on NatGeo?

I like Seth MacFarlane. (Shruggie emoji)

Same, Canada has everything that Ireland doesn’t, Proper seasons! Abortions and women’s rights! Maple syrup! Both compassion and action towards the refugee crisis! Any Canadians looking for a bride? (Only partly joking at this stage...)
