I love this. Posted something similar below. I love when dudes are like “WOMEN ARE TOO EMOTIONAL THEY CANT DO THE JOB. WOMEN CAUSE ME TOO MANY EMOTIONS SO I CANT DO MY JOB AND THATS ALSO THEIR FAULT.”

“Most of the respondents were young, white married men who are worried that the presence of women in their small teams could create complications in their home life, sexual harassment or affairs. They believe the risk could affect the family-like trust of the group.”

I always find the man justification for not allowing women in certain roles to be the ultimate irony.

“I weigh 225 pounds, and 280 pounds in full kit, as did most of the members of my ODA (a 12-man Army Green Beret unit). I expect every person on my team to be able to drag any member of my team out of a firefight. A 130 pound female could not do it, I don’t care how much time she spends in the gym. Do we expect

I can understand somewhat the initial concern about physical strength but this is negated by the mandatory requirements. Aka if she can meet the physical strength required, then she has every right to be there.

I don’t think just because she’s a fantastic female writer that she should only explore a female voice in her story-telling? One of her many strengths is her ability to really find different voices and perspectives in her writing in an empathetic way. I feel like it limits her ability to create worlds and characters

YES

“U SHOULD DEFiNATLEY MAKE $1,000,000 BEFORE U SPEAK TO ME, BY THE WAY ARE YOU RELATED TO LEGOS ? BECUZ U ARE BLOCKED”

considering they arrested him, and said its a black dude in the article Jezebel sourced. It probably isn’t a white dude

I thought feminism was *all* our issue. Guess I was wrong.

John Legend, Terry Crews. If we’re talking men of color in general I’d throw in Aziz Ansari.

“You can say you support feminism. But don’t say you’re an actual feminist.”

I never know what to do with these kinds of cases. I am a survivor of rape, and deeply believe in showing support and compassion to victims, but at the same time I am deeply uncomfortable with the idea that a person’s personal and professional life can and should be ruined based on two tweets, with absolutely no

It’s less about a comma and more about a misplaced modifier: “....after replicating without permission a shaman robe worn by the woman’s great-grandfather.”

Fact.

I would guess that the bacteria were on her skin to begin with, and the friction from the hair tie created tiny little tears that let the bacteria into the underlying tissue. If that’s the case, it’s a freak accident, not at all reflective of the hair tie or her hygiene.

For me, it’s usually more of this:

What causes you to believe it has steadily gotten worse? The declining murder rates? The introduction of Obamacare? The steady decrease of white people as proportion of the population? The fact that the USA has diverse people and opinions? That we aren't a one party state? Or are you just prone to hyperbole?

Dear Americans who still live there: has it gotten worse?
