Okay - so we’ll just completely ignore them in works of fiction - effectively writing them out of the narrative. Great idea to dismiss their contribution to NA society.

Especially considering that it’s...you know...fiction.

mmmm...you know that wizards of any race aren’t real right?

Contact the one Native that speaks for all Native Americans??

Cool - she can write a fictionalized history of fictionalized North American WITCHES AND WIZARDS (aka - not real people) and totally leave out Natives in the Americas. That won’t cause controversy either.

I feel like when he’s with Miles Kane that he acts a lot more disrespectfully and douchey - if you watch interviews when he’s alone or with Matt Helders then he seems so much more level headed and friendly and often seems very attentive and tries to actually answer questions. I’ve listened to a few radio interviews

Alex Turner seems so much more tolerable when he’s with the band (specifically with Matt Helders). When he’s with Miles Kane he becomes so much more douchey.

I agree - I love the music. But both Turner and Kane give off such douchey vibes.

People can be so clueless when it comes to reading facial and body language cues. Or you know, just listening when someone says “don’t”. What’s with all these oblivious tools these days going “oh sorry, I didn’t realize?” Like, do you not have eyes and ears or are you just of subnormal intelligence?

I’m sure they do - but this article isn’t about that. This article is about Miles Kane and women journalists dealing with harassment on the job.

Sad how these American’s educational institutions have failed them so immensely.

There are tons of Asian, Latino, Native American figure heads supporting Black Lives Matter. Did you forget Yuri Kochiyama existed - or did you maybe have no idea in the first place because you are an uneducated buffoon?

So no other non black actors or actressess of colour have spoken out...or maybe you just aren’t listening? Do you really think other minorities thumb their noses at your cause? Did you think that when Yuri Kochiyama cradled Malcolm X in her arms as he died that she was just some stranger who wandered off the street?

Ah okay - so lets keep perpetuating stereotypes about certain races and lets keep Natives out of the spotlight because it’s just too sad to deal with all together and lets let black people be the only minority group in America because they’re the only ones who have ever “suffered”. Gotcha. I love this minority

I would fully support a man going up on stage and saying “it’s time for gender equality in film” or a white person going up on stage and saying “a lack of diversity is a real problem in Hollywood - everyone here must work towards remedying it”.

Native, Asian, Latino people ARE protesting - nobody’s listening. Chris Rock had a platform to address #OscarsSoWhite which wasn’t solely about black people - it was about diversity in general and he made it entirely about black people. Latinos are the most underrepresented minority in Hollywood and are constantly

Or you know, they’re actually the most underrepresented

Just wanted to add that sure, he made not have ignored it in the past - but he certainly loved making fun of other races all while calling for diversity in film.

Or all those STEM jobs going to Natives living on reserve and never being stereotyped in films? Or all those Middle Easterners being given opportunities and not being called “terrorists” because they’re only ever shown as bombers and cabbies on tv and in movies?

He did the heavy lifting for black people while also making jokes about other races. Gotta keep somebody down, right?
