you kinda do have to consider that what he did was nowhere near as bad as Weinstein/Cosby/Spacey, all people who he’s being compared to now

i mean at least he apologized/understood what he did was wrong, unlike Trump and his tape scandal
this guy gets the big picture
tbf they probably should have done an Anthony Weiner joke but im not really surprised that they didn’t
are you really arguing that it’s ok for snl to be biased towards the sexual misconduct of people who align with them politically? wew
Lmao besides the fact that it’s a terrible justification to say there wasn’t enough “mainstream appeal” to make the jokes, not that many people know who Roger Ailes is (compared to people who have ever heard of the Weinstein company)
i mean The Needle Drop is legitimate competition for av club/music reviews so it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world for AV club if people thought Fantano was a secret alt right nazi/racist
eh even that’s a pretty big reach and even if he was Hyde was nowhere near as crazy as he is now when Fantano interviewed him
Unpopular opinion but I liked Landid’s essay a lot, and I think AV Club is taking this as an offense to CRJ or something, which it really isn’t
yeah, it’s pretty obvious whoever wrote this article didn’t read any of his “manifesto”
if it looks like a duck...
I agree with you, I’m glad that he got a settlement out of the whole thing- I think a lot of people have jumped to the conclusion that he’s automatically guilty based on what you described and from what other news sources like Jezebel have been reporting. at the end of the day I would probably trust a court decision…
uh the police were involved and they chose not to pursue it further because of a lack of evidence after turning over text message records, the same reason why the university court dropped it.
