Comcast WIFI and your home WIFI use different network segments for public access even though it’s the same routing device. If the pirated connection came from your comcast WIFI, it’s grounds for a dismissal, but if the public IP traces back to your home WIFI, you could be held accountable. Still, it’s dicey.
