I watched the first (new) episode on Amazon last night and I did not expect Dave and Kevin to give us the Full Monty. That was… something. Good premise to to the sketch, though.

The budget is the big problem here. They picked the King story about pyrokinesis, but only gave it a budget of $12 million* to work with. That would require a lot of creativity when it comes to special effects to make cheap effects look more expensive, and it sounds like they didn’t deliver.
