I don’t think you need your Mom to claim her Irish citizenship - I looked at this too because my grandfather was from Dublin and my Nana was from Kerry. We have her immigration/citizenship papers from the US and her baptismal certificate from Ireland, it didn’t look like I needed more than that as a grandchild.
