This is the moment. The turn. Jimmy and Saul are fighting for control, and this is where Jimmy finally loses. Look at the suit - it’s mostly Jimmy, fairly understated and clean, well tailored, with a nice shirt. But the tie & pocket square, that’s all Saul. The ice cream is classic Jimmy. The earpiece, totally Saul.

Yeah, but that happened in 2006 so clearly Malvo stole the idea from Kim & Jimmy.

but Kim has a clarifying moment in one of those meetings. Kevin and Paige think in terms of what’s practical, not what’s possible. They’ll never go to nonsensical lengths to get what they really want; they’ll always settle for a sensible alternative.

It was “Jaws 3-D” in theaters. For the non 3-D version released on home video, and I assume when shown on TV, it was titled “Jaws III”.

Did Howard kiss Rebecca on the mouth when she left? That looked weird. I’m not saying it goes anywhere, just weird.

Fabian consistently does a good job, but he’s not going to get one. If there’s a supporting actor nomination, it’s going to be Jonathan Banks or Giancarlo Esposito.

Remember, everyone, not only do we have to worry about what happens to Kim before Breaking Bad begins, we also have to do the same with Nacho. What a look on Michael Mando’s face when Gus puts the leash on and tells him that he’s is. Yikes.

“Mike tells Lydia drily”

I’ve seen this episode before . . . at the dog park.

Chuck was horrible to jimmy, he got his own brother suspended and just barely avoided jail. Kim knows very well why jimmy doesn’t care, that is why she feels so protective of him, she feels really sorry for him. In her eyes, jimmy cared for chuck for years, put up with all his insanity, and all chuck did was

I live for scenes like the one Kim had with Howard. But on some level, I feel pity as well. She’s here, trying to make sense of why Jimmy is so nonchalant about Chuck’s death, and Howard’s handling of the situation sure seems to track as the perfect excuse. It would be far more upsetting to consider the alternative: Th

Isn’t the remark that “one of the classic movie channels is showing Jaws 3D” is a friendly snipe at the channel that used to proudly be “American Movie Classics”?

The terror and cringing tension that Nacho showed when Gus told him  that he knew.  Great job by Mando on that one.

Possible hustle for Jimmy for the next few episodes... go on job interviews. Case out places. Call in Mike to lift said gear, give Mike a cut. I can sort of see Jimmy doing this, because hustling is pretty much a part of his DNA. Even when he doesn’t need to do it, he’ll do it. But Mike’s motivation is where I’m going

Wow! This might be my favorite episode of the series thus far, or at least in the top three, for sure.

I love Kim.

Kim’s explosion tonight reminded how much scarier quiet characters are than loud, exuberant ones, because when you finally see them crack it’s TERRIFYING. Her rage, paired with Howard’s cracking voice, makes me hope Fabian and Seehorn get a pair of Emmy noms this year.

I liked how the decor in the Neff headquarters obviously hadn’t evolved in at least four decades. The AMC must have given the BCS set crew the keys to the Mad Men warehouse.

“That machine was almost too good,” one of the Neff managers tells Jimmy about a copier he fondly remembers. “Counterfeiters used it to make color copies of $5 bills.” Bet Jimmy’s filing that idea away for later.

Shout-out to William Jackson Harper’s ability to imbue the word “what?” with a whole sentence’s meaning :)
