Even funnier are the ones essentially taking credit for her victories via “pressure from the left,” as if the loudest voices advocating her ouster as speaker weren’t moderate dems to her right.

I was one of those people. I ate those words after she owned him at his own meeting in front of the press and with the shutdown. I stated as much on here, or at least on GMG. A ton of us naysayers did. Although, the Democratic Party still needs new blood and to develop new leaders which the committee appointments

That lead picture sure looks like it should occupy a premier spot on the Wiki “douchebag” page. He looks like the kind of asshole who drinks in downtown Huntington Beach.

I don’t want her for president, but people get really ugly about her for no good reason.

I hope they replace him with Karl Urban.

He had a bad anti-science establishment streak that got worse and worse as he aged. State of Fear was downright shameful and I am afraid that he would be just another Jordan Peterson if he was still alive today.

I would like to add another entry, Suikoden 2.  Every year is a good year for Suikoden.

Today, we lament the exclusion of Luigi’s archnemesis, Waluigi.

If only he’d played the Spider-Man from Spider-Man: Reign, who gave his MJ cancer via his radioactive semen.

Well, yeah she rhymes the last syllable of the line each time with the same word, but the syllables before it (internal rhyme) also rhyme and are different words. If anything, one could argue that she makes the rhyme more difficult by limiting herself to the same word for end rhyme while still contrasting that with

This is boring. I’m boooooooooored.

That’s the shittiest rap verse ever. It’s nonsense. Tupac needs to come back from Cuba and show Nicki how to fucking write a real diss.

Attacking a female artist in the industry about being a "slut" or using sexual favors to get ahead is so damn lazy. And also... So what if she did hook up with producers/DJs whatever? That doesn't mean it contributed to her success. I mean I'm no Cardi stan but Nicki hasn't put out good music in a minute. That Chun-Li

This sounds like a pretty legitimate premise upon which to reboot a franchise. It’s nice to see some intention and adding a relevant twist to the old story. Plus Candyman was already pretty cool. I do hope Tony Todd pops up somehow.

Both are better than Attack of the Clones.

And speaking as a programmer myself, it’s extremely industry-standard to reuse code. It’s practically a sin not to. The problems that code solves rarely change; sometimes you have to rebuild something from scratch because it’s gotten messy, but that’s usually on the scale of decades, not yearly release cycles.

I refuse to believe that he will see a second term, Then again I refused to believe he would win the election. But per the military? They seem programmed to vote for the far right, because the repugs love war so they keep the military in business (even though they screw them over as every other oligarchy has - see

No. Democrats should have got off their little asses and voted for Hillary, because she was the only option for anyone with an iota of intelligence.

Agreed. Ellis, along with his buddy Jay McInerney, got badly oversold as the voices of their generation, and BEE’s book reads more like a college sophomore’s idea for a satire on American capitalism than a realized story.

A couple of these books (Jaws, Planet of the Apes) are not bad, it’s just that the movie was better. American Psycho however, that was a terrible book, the movie was a vast improvement. And not sure this should count, but I would say the Deadpool movie was very entertaining, even though I have never liked the comics.
