Thank you for celebrating this amazing movie. In the future, all restaurants are Taco Bell.

Dood, the Lure was awesome!!! (!!!!!!)
I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched a visual representation of the Simpsons joke ‘Super Nintendo Chalmers.. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
Yeah, I’m loving Shadow of War despite some flaws I feel it come by honestly. And I know every moment brings me closer to the insane, grindey nonsense of the Shadow Wars, which seem only designed to reward players with $$$. Crushing to think that I can never have a legendary orc roster without money or time-cosuming…
I hear broken vagina and I refuse to clarify or further research the story. That’s what heroes do!
Y’know, I’d consider myself a huge Richard K. Morgan fan and can’t look forward to this enough. But a big part of me hopes the show’s writers won’t try to amplify the book’s Xtreme Xtremeness.
kids, man, kids...
Not to mention just making a lot of shit up to protect Trump.
They assume it doesn’t affect them, and since this is just the way America is now, they might as well suck up to the new master race.
‘Pissed off but also terrified’ might describe people’s response better. Can’t wait to see the treacly write-up next year when this guy’s a colonel and rounding up people for death camps.
I feel sad sometimes that (IMHO) the great age of JRPGs has ended. Western games really have the edge, and, while I love what they bring, I sometimes miss the good ‘ol days. Finally playing Dark Souls has been a great experience to bring back some of that feeling.
Loving your write-ups, btw. Beyond just going down the nostalgia hole, you’re really highlighting what made the greats from this era so special.
Just like Soul Blazer and Illusions of Gaia before it, this was a beautiful, unique game brimming with wisdom, spirit, and respect for all life. I love these games, and there’s never been anything quite like them afterwards.
Aw, dude, say it ain’t so! I’ve read your articles, I’ve agree, I’ve disagree, and I’ve come to trust you opinion as my first Kinja go-to. Good luck and I’ll catch you in the Tweet-o-sphere.
Shadow of War. DGAF, it’s fun!
Ok, I want to fight you on this, but you’re right.
I said this in the comments when the new series was announced, but let me repeat: (Also, assume every word has a clap emoji next to it) There are hundreds if not thousands of fantasy epics worthy of adaptation.
At least how I explained the series when my friends made fun of me for reading it in the Nineties: “Instead of a weiner, one of these two guys has a...kinda...dove thing down there that’s also a vagina”.
I’m reminded once again that Daredevil is that character you forget about that Marvel can pull a really interesting story out of there asses with once in a while.
I have the most empathy for Jake Lloyd, Hayden and Ahmed may have had it tough, but whatever happened on set didn’t lead to them wandering the Valley addicted to meth and face tattoos. Poor kid makes Lindsey Lohan look like a Hollywood success story.
