Yeah, I hear you. See response to 50Shades for more detailed clarification.

Of course it was a big deal to them: the Vikings lost and it would have given them a shot at OT.

I agree on intent/harm not mattering (despite my half-assed comment’s implication) in a rule’s application, and I agree it’s a penalty by rule.

Not every time, but overall, fair.

Yeah, the jerk of the facemask was actually more jarring than the “blow.” And true on intent. I often say intent doesn’t matter myself, so screw my hypocrisy I guess. Fair points.

Good point.

I mean....a penalty by rule  but I’d stop short of saying a HUGE blow to the head, and I woudl. I’m no Cowboys fan, but I’m kind of ok with THAT kind of play being let go with the game on the line.

I mean...probably...but the mom crack had a better comedic flow to me.

Next time I need a massage I know to call these guys and insult their mothers. Seriously, if you have insecurities about going to a sporting event where a fight might happen and need to psych yourself up, watch this shit and convince yourself that a fight with 4 of 5 random sports fans is about as dangerous as a fight

You should try to loosen up. And apparently at least 355 people thought he was clever and/or funny...which in the grand scheme of humanity isn’t a lot but it’s well above average here and monumentally better than the one rec your mom gave your one-comment burner comeback.

Sometimes the hot take is correct take.

Homocidal because of stories your players told about their experiences or that of people they knew, I assume? (You coach rugby? Women’s?)

Just...god damn.... /head ‘splodes just doesn’t quite cover it.

My take was off (fatally incomplete at least if not dead wrong); see my other responses to people calling me out. Though at no point in my comment did I suggest Brown saw him. I specifically said he didn’t, and if Ellis was legitimately going for a puck and Brown turned a half-second before contact, no, that’s not

See my comments to other respondents, but long story short, yes, I’m backing off this take somewhat, especially considering Ribeiro looked sure to get the puck (missed that the first time as I watched their approaches/collision).

As I note in another comment, yeah, I focused on their paths and the collision and failed to notice that Ribeiro had all but secured the puck in the corner.

I’ll back off my certainty, (not based on an announcer’s in-the-moment assumption, of course). I didn’t see how clearly Nashville was already winning the puck as he sprinted toward it, which is odd. The collision (or at least its intensity) still relied on Brown taking a sharp left and Ellis, even if he was making a

That color palate is interesting, if lacking anything bright. Except the red, which is bright and doesn’t seem to fit the scheme at all. It makes Seahawks’ glowing lime green seem like a natural fit. Also, the steel and the black don’t seem to have much contrast.

I don’t necessarily blame Brown for thinking he got hit dirty. He’s also fucking wrong, though, which is just one reason why you don’t just start pummeling a guy on the ground like an asshole. All Ellis did was go straight and collide as Brown accidentally cut him off with a sharp left. Fuck Brown.

Watch it again more closely. Ellis did absolutely nothing wrong; he was obviously not even anticipating any contact with Brown; he never saw him. It was an accidental collision...one caused when Brown suddenly veered left directly into Ellis’ very straight path. Then the clueless oaf has the nerve to get incensed that
