I honestly think they don't do it because they'd be pissed if no one heard their street sounds and ambient noise. Rockstar is very into realism now. They seem to really care that everyone hear the city.

You have to get one of the grips for the vita. As it currently is I can't play the vita for five minutes without my hands hurting, but you get those grips for $10, turns the vita into a ps3 controller shape and you can game all day cause your hands rest naturally like they do on the ps3 controller.

Well, that's pretty much what every gta game is, hours of travel time.

There should be an arbitrary limit because I don't want to watch you for even fifteen minutes. 15 minites is 3x longer than 5 btw, and There is no one that wants to watch you for 5. Nothing is stopping you from buying your own capture device, just like last gen. So, waste your money where you please.
